I decided to try the salt cave after hearing so many positive comments. I was initially bored sitting there but concentrated on my breathing and heart rate. Soon I was relaxed and my breathing was in a natural flow. After about 20 minutes I could feel the tension and inflammation in my body leave. The tendonitis in my left elbow was much improved. For the first time in 6 weeks my elbow didn't ache. I will go back and I encourage anyone with an autoimmune disease like fibromyalgia to try it. The staff was welcoming and greeted us when we exited the salt cave.

In September there was a special for 7 days in the cave. I did that, as well as two massages. It was so wonderful I went back in October. Great place to meditate, rest and breathe. Staff is kind and accommodating. Amit the massages were among the best I’ve ever had. Highly recommend the experience.

I booked an evening with a friend to relax and don’t feel that is what I had. First, I do not live in the area so I needed to check the website to see what to expect. It was misleading. Arrived 15 minutes early as suggested. The greeting was minimal to say the least and disorganized. I was given paperwork to complete and just about as I sat down we were rushed into the so called salt cave because there was a scheduling snafu and in order to for everyone in she had to start. So I started less then relaxed. No safe or secure place for personal items. Seated and people kept coming in for the original time and some late. Again, so much for relaxing. The second masseuse finally arrived and she did three massages on people’s feet including mine. It was not ten minutes. I timed it. Five minutes not the ten promised. I won’t be back and I can’t recommend this place. Definitely not worth the hour drive in each direction. I have used many facilities and this ranks as the worst. Waste of money and time. At the end the staff sat down, no good bye, no questions if it was ok, no instructions to hydrate. Just unprofessional. If I wasn’t so disappointed and unhappy I would have asked for a refund, but I didn’t want to start a discussion in a place already disorganized and uncaring. I can pour Himalayan salt on the floor, play some relaxing music and get more out of it in my own home. Hope it improves, but I sincerely doubt it since there was no concern for client satisfaction.

I was first introduced to the Salt Den as a member of a party of 10 women who chose to experience it for the first time as a group. It was lovely. I have subsequently been back nearly a dozen times. I enjoy the Solitude the calming and the added benefit of reduced post nasal issues. I have also had several massages with Jen who is at the top of her game. I have availed myself of the red light nearly a dozen times and believe it is doing me good both mentally and physically. I have yet to try the sauna but intend to in the near future. The Salt Den is clean, well staffed and a lovely place to untangle oneself from the daily fray. I recommend it for anyone who needs a moment of self-care. Lisa G

I've been to the Salt Den a number of times and have enjoyed every session. You can go just for an hour of relaxation or when you really want to help clear up an episode of a cold or bronchitis. Staff is very friendly and helpful.
