Amazing time in a great location on the banks of the Nile. We spent two days doing white water kayaking lessons with David who was a great instructor and taught us the basics and some more advanced moves I'm not a natural kayaker but he was patient and I felt safe the whole time. On the third day we did the more advanced rapids with me in a tandem kayak with an instructor and my partner in a solo kayak...again great fun and beautiful scenery. The whole trip was easy to organise over email and the team were really helpful in person as well.…

Hubs and I wanted to celebrate our 10 year anniversary in a unique way, and kayaking the Nile hit the nail on the head! We’d kayaked smoother water before but both wanted to learn better technique, reading the water, and learning the Eskimo roll so we booked 2 morning lessons with David and stayed overnight to make a getaway out of it. We absolutely LOVED it! The staff at KTN were super helpful and accommodating, and it was very affordable. David was a great teacher, very patient, and always made us feel challenged yet safe. It was such a memorable adventure-we are already planning the next lessons!…

My guide and instructor Jessie was the highlight of this adventure. Have you ever met someone who was living their truth and sharing their passion with others. Well I did - on the Nile in Uganda. Jessie not only shared her many life adventures with me, but she showed me how to truly appreciate the glory that is the Nile. Her love for its water, nature and inhabitants is contagious. I don't know how it happened but I stepped into a life changing expreince that I'll never forget. She had so much enthusiasm, and was able to explain everything we came in contact with. I especially appreciate the respect and reverence she has for the local people, as they provide generous passage for us visitors to gently peek into their world. And when done, it's important to not interrupt their culture or environment. Jessie doesn't exploit this fortunate opportunity - she simply helps share it with others in a sustainable manner that everyone comes out growing from. She even had some great surprises along the way - in fact one of my favorite parts was embarking onto the beach under a large tree - and chatting over refreshments. That's when I discovered she was truly a "sister from another mother" :-) The price, experience, knowledge and connections you will get from this adventure is absolutely priceless. I would have booked one trip everyday if I knew the experience was going to be so breathtaking. But there's always next time. So I simply can't wait to return, and I would encourage EVERYONE to do the same and visit Jessie at "Kayak the Nile" in Jinja Uganda!!!…

It was the perfect relaxing wind down to our two week trip. Our guides were very friendly and informative and made it a special morning+afternoon. Would definitely be up for going again next time were in Uganda and looking into the other activities the offer.…
