The team at Nile Horseback Safaris is simply amazing. Natalie, TJ, Moses, Rasmus, the grooms, and the amazing horses made our weeks riding in Uganda unforgettable. It is a beautiful country that surpassed all expectations. Natalie is an amazing rider who through her enthusiasm elevated our riding skills on our happy forward going horses Hunters Gold and Kumi Kumi. Prepare to be blown away by the scenery, people and riding. Picnic lunches and stunning hotel locations make for an out of this world holiday.

Family ride for 1.5 hours along the riverbank and through the villages. Mixed ability (the 9 year old is experienced but it’s only my wife’s second time on a horse). The 9 year old went cantering off with a guide at places to rejoin us with our guide as we were at walking pace. Unique perspective from horseback and got places we wouldn’t have found on our own. Knowledgeable and helpful staff. Can recommend and we will be back !

It's two days since I enjoyed a ride with Nile Horseback Safaris and I still have a smile on my face. Everything was amazing: the uncomplicated reservation, scenic transport with the shuttle boat, health of the horses, professionalism and trust of the guide, selection of the route. Best of all however: the allocation of the horse. I had some special requirements which have been taken into consideration just perfectly. Still dreaming of that horse! I am not going to reveal more since I am sure you have your own expectations which the organizers surely will match with your perfect horse. Enjoy! I am a little jealous..

We chose a two day ride, spending a night at The Haven. Not sure what we expected, but it was better than anything we could have dreamed of. Lovely horses (Fever and Komi Komi) and very competent guides (George and Noah). The owner TJ was very welcoming, brought our luggage and took his time to have lunch with us. We are both at intermediate level and enjoyed lots of trotting, cantering and galloping through villages, plantations and forrest. Approx. 5 hours of riding each day. Highly recommened!
