Excellant but small site. We visited on a Monday and the museum was closed. In fact, the website said the site was closed but, although there was no entry at the museum area, the second entrance was open. This was primarily a residential area. The highlight was the House of the Cascades, which had mosaics including doe tones with fish. There was a necropolis, which was interesting. We could see in the distance what we think were the baths but we were told they were in excavated and did not visit. This was a highly rewarding site.

Excellent site. Most of it is yet to be unearthed actually. Will be amazing when excavated. BUT, it really is best it stays buried as the site is being degraded and not well looked after. We were absolutely shocked to be led though the site by the guide and walking on millennial old mosaics that are literally falling apart and being destroyed. Sites need to be protected form wear and tear. What kind of archaeological sites allows people to trample on antiquities?!?

We did not get a chance to visit the associated museum - we arrived too late - but were able to visit the site itself. Quite impressive for its relatively small size - in particular, many mosaics are still in place - primarily geometric rather than pictorial, but the craftsmanship is still evident. Would recommend a guide book because there is not that much information provided on site - and a stop in the museum would have been useful as well - but we still enjoyed our hour there, just before closing time.
