This shop has a variety glass blown objects. It is fun to watch the artists working on their glassblowing in the shop. Like the swan barometers with colored water. Certainly worth the stop.

If you're into glass Trinkets and knick-knacks this is a must-see. There are plenty of little pieces of glass and all different forms.

Something for everyone that loves glass!

Dropped in this little store to just look around but couldn't help but buy several things. Lovely little shop, prices are very affordable and there is something for everyone including mystery bags for the kids or just young at heart. Some of the glass work is really beautiful. Staff was extremely friendly.

Unique Gifts, Friendly People

One of the most unique shops in Lake Placid. They have glass art for everything from animals, to sports to barometers. They will even mold your name in glass while you wait (and watch) or if you prefer, you can come back and pick up. The staff was friendly and talented with their work. They made 3 custom pieces for us in a short time. My kids (11 & 13) thought these were the best souvenirs from our trip. We even had them make something for our dog sitter. Prices are reasonable for this type of art. Everything was packaged well for travel and nothing broke on the way home.

Horrible service!!!!

I came across this place after business hours and thought it would be a nice place to visit. The next morning I arrived there was no one in the business,me and my friend looked around asked a question or 2, the young man didn't know how to do anything as he said he hasn't been trained and he was the only person in the store this was at 11:54am. I brought my merchandise up to the counter he was looking at his cell phone the business phone rang he answered I'm still standing waiting to make my purchase. I interrupted his conversation and ask if he could cash me out,he told me he was talking to his boss. I said as a small business owner myself I'm sure your boss would want you to make a sale then come back to them he said and I quote" no he said it's sad at any other time she would have told me to wait she's money hungry she's from Georgia"!!!! I said as a business owner a sale is more important especially in today's economy with small businesses. I wouldn't go back to this business under the impression I experienced.

They stayed open late to do a child's name!
Jun 2015 • Family
We arrived last Saturday evening on our way to treat my significant other's child to a Maple Cream ice cream in Lake Placid! We had to park in the municipal lot near the Olympic complex so we walked past the Glassblowing Shop. Nifty! We wandered inside to show her the glassblower working. We saw the sign for names blown and decided we'd get her one! Well, we didn't realize that it was 24 minutes past when they were supposed to close up for the evening. The lovely woman blowing glass said it was okay and blew our child's name for her even though it put her way past their closing time! Thank you! You made a very happy 10 year old!
