Easy but nice! Only the prices for power are too high... the quiver trees are wonderful, bathrooms are great and the shower as well.

It is a long time since our visit, but it remains in our memory. Our guide recommended that we have a rest break here, rather than that recommended on our itinerary, and when we arrived, we understood why. Apart from providing basic food and drinks,...More

What a pleasant surprise, from the friendly voice of Marianne to the big smile of Jonas the caretaker. We decided on our way back home to push much further than our original camping spot at Lake Oanob and found Garas Park rest camp on Tracks...More

This is a wonderful, rustic camp site. We had the place to ourselves. It also has the best Quiver Tree Forest I have ever visited. The campsite ablutions were great with hot showers and flushing toilets. Lovely and very reasonable place to stay.

We camped for 2 nights at this rustic campsite 13 km outside Keetmanshoop. The sites are large, well spaced and loosely demarcated. The unusual galvanized iron ablution areas provided all that was needed for a piping hot shower. The site is decorated with many figurines...More

Huge campsites amidst very old quiver trees, some friendly animals and a super lovely owner make this place very special. We started our Namibia trip here and immediately got the "African" feel and felt very, very welcome. What a lovely, lovely place.

A very quirky lunch or snack stop and a must to see the art installations made of everything from old vacuum cleaners to ac parts to car parts to anything you might imagine. A bizarre and fun spot to visit. Also home to stunning quiver...More

A smallish caravan park with clean facilities. I could not appreciate the unusual garden decor (it looks evil) but our friends thought it was different and nice. The establishment had some hot water issues in the morning but Hendrick (one of the staff members) went...More

Thank you for your visit and review. We apologise for the hot water issue, which I believe was sorted timeously. Glad you enjoyed the beautiful Quiver trees.

Instead of travelling on a dirt road to see the Quiver Forest, try this venue that is next to the tarred road and has beautiful Quiver trees that will not disappoint you.
