A very quirky lunch or snack stop and a must to see the art installations made of everything from old vacuum cleaners to ac parts to car parts to anything you might imagine. A bizarre and fun spot to visit. Also home to stunning quiver...More

A smallish caravan park with clean facilities. I could not appreciate the unusual garden decor (it looks evil) but our friends thought it was different and nice. The establishment had some hot water issues in the morning but Hendrick (one of the staff members) went...More

Thank you for your visit and review. We apologise for the hot water issue, which I believe was sorted timeously. Glad you enjoyed the beautiful Quiver trees.

Instead of travelling on a dirt road to see the Quiver Forest, try this venue that is next to the tarred road and has beautiful Quiver trees that will not disappoint you.

My husband and I arrived here yesterday for a two day camping stay over. The direction boards to reception were a little bit confusing but when we arrived at reception we were welcomed by Marian Hulme. And a host of quirky wooden dolls on bikes,...More

This a complete insider tip and for some reason not very well advertised. Even the small sign on the road is hatd to see when you drive past with 120kmh.. Anyway, definitely worth a stop and great (and much cheaper) alternative to the bigger brother...More

Small scale, pristine nature park and rest camp with a small quiver tree forest featuring rocks shaped by the same geological phenomena as the Giant's playground. Is lovely quirky due to the various art objects (near the reception) the owners made. Definitely worth a stop-over...More

Basic campsite facilities, very rustic. But if you want good value for money and outstanding photo opportunities at both sunset and sunrise of quiver trees, this is a spot to be. Very quiet. Although basic, it was clean and everything works! Price, good.

Fantastic place...but do not expect 5* luxury, it has all the amenities you could want for camping but they are quirky and you have to be adaptable. We loved it Marion and Hendryke were lovely people and she is trying her hardest to keep it...More
