A nice visit. The guide was very professional. She knew the plants very well. Endemic plants rare ones. A small wave to the tortoise. She's very reserve and doesnt like people disturbing her when she eats. I personally think that the garden should be handled with more proper care and clean. Beware of mosquitoes haha...dnt forget your anti mosquito spray😅

It is a botanical garden with a theme of five senses: beautiful shaped and colored plants and flowers for the eye sight; scented flowers and other flora for the nose's smell ; spiky and responsive-to-the-touch plants for the body touch; spicy and aromatic native species for the palate's taste; buzzing of bees, birds calls and the gurgling of rivulets for the ears.
The guides are nice and ready to answer any questions that may interrupt their scripted brief. The gardens are still young, but they represent a remarkable effort that should be commended. One can buy propolis and honey based products at the reception and other small gift items. Worth a visit as a mark of support for the initiative. Book at the adjacent "Chez Jeannette" for a healthy Creole lunch (we were staying there).

The owner did not bother to greet and welcome us when we arrived there. He was more concerned about the payment. He was in such a hurry that this discourage us.

Was closed when we went, so the brochures at the airport are incorrect. Call ahead and they may open for you.

Just another botanical garden, worth a visit if you're into trails and plants. We were a bit annoyed by the receptionist who looked as if we were disturbing her when we went there since there was just the two of us, but overall it was okay.

The Botanical garden is a very interesting place to visit if you like nature :) I loved to see all the endemic plants and it was fun to play the games, too.

It is worth visiting while yo are in Rodrigues. The Gardens have quite a selection of endemic, endangered and other plants and trees. Not only you will have a great guide to walk you through and explain but you will be able to challenge yourself by tasting and "feeling" plants and infusions.
