Tamarind falls Is a must with Greendiscovery
Jan 2021 • Family
The great experience of the 7 cascades with Prakash was wonderful. The waterfalls was amazing and the hike a bit physical. We had an opportunity to swim in several cascades and it was amazing. It's very important to hike with a guide as you can get lost very easily mainly if you have kids. I totally recommend Prakash from Green Discoveries. You can contact him by WhatsApp +230 57608367 or + 230 57839698.

We went with our guide Prakash from Green Discovery. We were a group of local and we had a wonderful hicking, swimming in the bassin of 7 cascades. The hike was quite tough and physical, but we did it finally with the guidance of Prakash. Absolutely fantastic for all the waterfalls we have seen. It's a trip which is very recommended. Unbelievable experience
A fantastic day out visiting parts of the valley others probably will not discover. The hike is a little challenging in places but perfectly managed by our guide Mr Prakash.

Definitely recommend Mr Prakash from Green Discovery. He is very friendly and always ready to help.

Beautiful scenic place

This place is amazing, if you can go down the falls in good weather time, it is definitely worth it. The river is more of a stream but it is quite deep.

Amazing day!
Feb 2020 • Couples
My partner and I visited the falls last week. I am not that physically fit, but the hike was doable, we climbed down to see each one of the waterfalls and then all the way back up grabbing onto roots and branches, as it was very steep and muddy, so appropriate footwear is essential. Our guide Prakash was very patient with us, taking breaks in between to rest and catch our breath again. He took plenty of pictures for us, was very knowledgable and provided us with delicious homemade snacks.
We got a chance to swim in 2 of the waterfalls, seen lobsters, dragonflies and there’s also those little fish that nibble on your feet :)
Definitely the best part of my stay in Mauritius and an experience I will never forget.

Nice cascades
Feb 2020 • Family
The highest cascade can be easily reached by walking on the path using any tourist map (eg. maps.me). From the parking spot it can take aporox 20 mins. Also viewpoint on the level 2-4 th cascade (from the top) can be reached using same map. Just do not cross the river and return back same way, once you get top the hill, turn left and continue the dust path.I can confirm maps.me are accurate. To reach viewpoint (when going from first casdade) can take you 30 mins. Totaly it takes no more then 1.5 hrs by easy walking.
Be aware of local "tourist catchers". They are waiting for your arrival and trying to create an impression that without their advise you can not go anywhere. Do not trust them, especially when you plan to visit only the highests cascades as I described.

Took the full tour. Should only be done by people who are in good physical conditions. I heard abot Raj and contacted him. Got an immidate reply and clear advice that due to weather conditions it would be to dangerous. They kept the promise to contact me as soon the trip was possible. It was an unforgetable experience. Mervin who guided the tour did an outstanding job guiding me to the most beautiful placeson the 7 cascade. Thanks a lot.

Wow factor hike !
Jan 2020 • Couples
We organised our guide Wesley at
short notice and he was friendly and efficient straight away meeting us an hour after we called him to start the hike at Henrietta.
It’s essential to take a guide on this walk so that you get the local knowledge, don’t get lost and stay safe as you navigate the sometimes tricky and steep terrain.
This hike has total wow factor with amazing views as you wind your way down the side of the waterfalls. Take time to enjoy the views.
We had a half day and managed to the top of the 5th fall. Would recommend a full day to do it justice and ensure it’s not rushed.
The highlights are the amazing views, swimming at the bottom of one of the falls and surviving the steep sections both on the way down and as you climb back up.
Wesley was extremely helpful and informative ensuring we stayed safe and helping us get fantastic photos at every opportunity
He’s easy to contact on whatts app +230 5718 4966 , highly recommended him.

Dec 2019
We were a group of 12 friends, our guide was Dirk from yannature.
The way down to the falls was very tricky, but Dirk was a very good guide, he got us save down and after the last fall up again.
he looked very good after the groupe and we felt save.
the best was the refreshing swimming in the last waterfall!
