We stayed here for 2 nights, which was barely enough as we missed North Island and the National Park on the other side of the Lake. Hoewever, Middle Island volcanoes are well worth a visit, all 3 of them, as to is a swim in the Lake next to the hot water springs. I would like to visit again sometime and spend a few more days.

We had a great trip in Turkana, visited Central Island, Sibiloi National Park and spent a great night in Lodwar. Eliye spring resort has good food, great food and facilities for the location BUT we had a terrible experience with the owner, super arrogant and playing on his monopoly on the western shore of Lake Turkana, where you have to pass by if you come by flight. Having read the comments below, we were expecting a cool guy trying to arrange trips in such a remote location but he talked to us as we were dogs.

This tranquil lodge is perfectly located in the springs of Eliye and surrounded with date palms that provide the much desired shade. At Eliye Springs Resort time becomes timeless as every moment goes by unnoticed. This is an amazing destination to get lost in as you reconnect to you inner-self.
