One senses that this is here to provide employment in a quite remote part of the Gambia. Nothing wrong with that but go with the expectation that it will be a tourist experience with little huts selling stuff and resident drummers drumming!

A fantastic day out arranged by Tanji Tours. An early start from Kololi meant an easy drive. Drinks and snacks when we arrived and then a marvellous time being shown around the forest and the animals before having lunch by the river..... such tranquil settings....More

We were guided around the forest - many different trees and plants to see but not the bird life we were expecting. It was great to come across the baboons. However, the cultural experience was a visit to a Witch Doctor who was making healing...More

My favourite trip as a guide due to my love for nature. The tranquillity of the boat trip, the fortune tell and palm tapper. The fascinating part for me is the arrival of the entertainers by boat at night with fire as a source of...More

Hi We did it also with the regular green and yellow taxi's and payed an entrance fee at the gate. No need to book in advance, certainly outside the season. Be aware that no food is available outside the touristic season!
