Sull'entrata si legge la scritta eroi...Poveri italiani che hanno combattuto e sono morti. Sicuramente è ben tenuto e curato soprattutto se si confronta ad altri luoghi ed edifici molto trascurati e fatiscenti

английское военное кладбище - памятник солдатам, погибшим в годы Второй мировой войны. Могилы однотипные, но надписи на них явно сделаны по текстам родственников и несут несомненные личные черты

Kriegerfriedhof

Der brit. Kriegerfriedhof ist neben dem ital. Kriegerfriedhof ein Zeichen des furchtbaren Kampfes im Jahr 1941. In der berühmten "Schlacht von Keren" fielen mindestens 3500 Soldaten. Ein Relikt des Schreckens, das offensichtlich von den Nationen der Gefallenen noch ordentlich gepflegt wird.

Siamo stati a Keren per il mercato dei cammelli che si tiene ogni lunedì, assolutamente da
vedere, nel pomeriggio abbiamo visitato questo cimitero di militari italiani e ascari.
Dignitoso e ben tenuto, almeno questo, nella loro sfortuna, se lo meritano.

Città rinata dopo la guerra con l’Etiopia . Originariamente grande centro agricolo si tempi della colonizzazione con vaste coltivazioni di agrumi e un efficiente ferrovia andata distrutta durante la guerra.
Notevoli gli interventi di risanamento e miglioramento della strada per Asmara e Agordat

Come per tutti i cimiteri ci vuole rispetto e ricordo per coloro che vi sono sepolti. E' tenuto molto bene e questa è già una grande cosa. Poco visitato, almeno dalle recensioni che vedo.

アスマラのイタリア人墓地と違って地味でした

ケレン観光で時間が余ったので立ち寄りました。白い墓がずらーっとあるだけ。アスマラのイタリア人墓地に比べて地味な印象を受けました。戦争や歴史背景に詳しくないとあまり楽しめないかも。私は無勉強のため楽しめず。時間がなければ行かなくてもいいかもしれません。
