We did the self guided tour due to time constraints. I am sure we would have enjoyed the guided tour also. The exhibits are housed inside the rooms of the fort and provided a good look at life during the French and Indian war.

Paul was our tour guide for the 7:30 p.m. tour. He was informative and delivered everything he promised. We have done several day time tours at the Fort and have always come out with a little more knowledge than we had from the time before....More

The tour was perfect and the guide was very knowledgeable about the fort. Every part was built as it was in 1757. We learned things about American history we never knew. Very nice gift shop with lots of books about the fort and the area.

First a video is shown, then the demonstration. If you walk around the fort, it may take a little over an hour.

Not sure where the park is. But it's in front of the ferries and boat launch down the road from a major beach area for lake George. In very close to the center of town
