Very nice, thought we would see more views of the lake but it was still a nice ride.

We enjoyed our horseback riding and would go again. We followed the trail up the mountain, saw a peek at Lake George which was beautiful.

If you're looking to ride a pony or a horse....great for 1st timers! This stable is very close to Lake George Village and we've been here twice now. You can either take the 1hr trail ride or for those really looking for an introduction, =you or your child can ride on a pony or horse lead by a staff member... More

The stables were nice and the staff seemed kind. We've done rides in a bunch of times - and love it, However, there were a number of outstanding issues at this location. The guide. Usually a guide will provide information about the area/history as you go... or you know, talk. He might have spoken 10 times the entire hour, and... More

If you are beginners, or have children who have never gone horseback riding, this stable is perfect for you. Their focus on safety is the best I have seen, and the horses are so well trained. For us, we have gone horseback riding in the Rockies and other places, and they still put my son on a pony instead of... More

Our visit was with a family with young children (9) and teenagers (13-15). The horses didn't buck or kick or misbehave, and the trail was beautiful. Our guide, Rob, was amazing! He was very knowledgable about Lake George and horses. They explained how to handle the horses briefly but thoroughly, and nobody had trouble. Make sure you wear long pants... More

My daughter & I went this morning to Saddle Up Ranch and loved it! It was her 1st time riding and everyone was so helpful and patient, giving tips to make it the best experience possible. Our guide Katie, was so friendly and experienced. All the horses were absolutely beautiful & the trail was awesome, the ride was just the... More

We had a private tour based on having five family members riding together. We had two children under 8 and three adults along with guide who was fabulous! The wait to pay was easy and fast, no reservations needed plenty of horses to choose from and felt very safe walking through the trail up and down the wooded but scenic... More

My daughter and I visited Saddle Up Stables on August 10, 2016. This was my daughter's first time and the staff and guides at Saddle Up made this an experience of a lifetime for her. She was frightened as we started up the trail and the guide was very helpful. She wanted to turn back but another experienced guide, Wendy,... More

My husband and I just left horseback riding here. It was so fun for young and old. We joined a group on 6 people and you get 2 guides with you. The guides are there to help you on the trails but the horses are well behaved and follow along. I am a beginner and it was a lot of... More

Prices weren't bad. Around $50.00 for an hour ride. They say they have scenic overviews but you literally see the lake for less than a minute, although it is very beautiful. I enjoyed all the little history tidbits they had along the trial about the French and Indian War. One thing I will say I wish they did was give... More
