Fun course, great views
May 2021
Contrary to some earlier reviews, I found the golf course to be in excellent shape and the staff very friendly and accommodating. And the price was right...$40 adult and $30 senior.

Typical of a mountain course, the holes can be challenging (especially the par 3s). Greens were a little slow but overall in good shape.

If you are striking the ball well overall, you can definitely go low here.

Only hole to really watch out for is the 14th...do yourself a favor and take a ride up the fairway before you tee off to see how the hole severely doglegs to the left (and the trees that could force you lay up.

Absolutely the worst golf course I have been on in 40 years of playing. Everything was the worst from the staff being organized to junk golf carts and then there what they call a golf course.
Horrible tee boxes, fairways, sand traps, cart paths and greens. If I didn’t list something it’s not because it wasn’t horrible.
Find any other course and you’ll be thankful you did.

We were told about the view as we didn't golf. Another OMG of views especially coming down the hill. A ride for something to do

If I could give it less stars I would..what a dump of a course
Aug 2020
We were charged 185.00 for 4 people to play 9 holes (that is not a typo). That is a ridiculous amount of money for that course. It is nothing more than a billy goat trail with hoaky holes. Rock hard fairways that slope heavily from one side to the other and extremely slow greens. It was a hot humid day and there no water or bathroom stations on the course.
When we checked in at the bar the barmaid/started was extremely rude and seemed annoyed that we were there. I hope one of the managers see's this and challenges me on my review as it is very accurate.
If you want to play a much nicer course a lot cheaper try Hiland Park Country Club down in Queensbury.

Another great weekend.
Oct 2019
Elaine and the staff go above and beyond to make our family feel right at home. The rooms are very comfortable. The restaurant is always ready to accommodate our wants and needs. The golf is a fun track in really great condition. For the non golfers, we found Pickleball courts in Queensbury . The players there were like all other courts we played. Friendly and welcoming. The convenience to winery’s the village of Lake George, Glenn’s falls and Bolton landing. Looking forward to future stays there.

Fun time for all
Oct 2018 • Friends
We had a group of 8 golfers and had a wonderful time. Great views of Lake George. The golf course is challenging, but grass was a little high (there had been a lot of rain this week). We all stayed for a late lunch. Menu was very nice and food terrific.

This would be a fine place if you are into 50’s kitsch

Are fine with minimal service and are traveling with golfers. As it was, we are a couple who were interested in Lake George and found the lodging here a terrible disappointment. We had to request towels and our sheets were not changed for three days. The breakfast crew was attentive but mostly I felt badly for them as it seemed this place was on a steep downhill slide. Can not recommend.

Top of the World-Group of Ladies dinner
Jul 2018 • Business
The view is amazing. I had a group of 20 ladies go there for dinner. It is old (over 100 years old) but kept well. We had a beautiful evening weather wise and dinner was great. No complaints from anyone. Good staff, good food, great views! Happy experience. The view of all the deer on the greenery and sides of the road on the way down were my favorite!!! Recommend going here!

Usually play this course in the fall, great view of lake George from the 10th tee box. A little pricey in the summer but overall a really nice course.
