Nice Flights
Oct 2020 • Couples
Wish we could choose the wines in the flight, but overall very good. They give you your flight and you can go sit on the deck
The only issue is they provide no information about the wines.

Expensive tastings- pass this one

The only thing positive to say about this winery is that the view is decent. Wine tastings are $14 and you can only choose a white, red, or sweet option. So unless you are with people who are willing to share your experience is very one sided. The wine itself is pretty terrible- while I’m no wine expert I can at the very least tell you when wine is bad and it is BAD.

Breathtaking view and good wine
Sep 2019
The day we were here there appeared to be some sort of wine event going on so it was a bit crowded. The building is new & sits atop a hill overlooking the vineyards & down to Keuka Lake - beautiful view! The tastings are 5 for $5. Our favorites were the 2016 Marquette and the Blaufrankisch.

Outstanding staff
Oct 2019 • Couples
We had the good fortune to have the wine club manager get our wine club package together and do our tasting. The place was super busy, but she managed to keep everything flowing beautifully. She is super knowledgeable and high energy!! Not sure how she manages so much!!

The reserve Chardonnay oaky, with butter tones. It’s a bit pricey, but worth it! The Lemburger (they use the Austrian name, which is something like Blaufranken) is fabulous. They also have a port, which is great.

Fun place to taste wine.

Outstanding wine and staff

The reserve Chardonnay is absolutely delicious- lots of oaky, butter tones. It’s a bit pricey, but worth it! The Lemburger (they use the Austrian name, which is something like Blaufranken) is fabulous.
The woman who was there handled a very busy evening all on her own. She was hustling constantly, but was able to provide us a wonderful tasting, as well as check on our wine club membership, while also attending to 20 other people’s needs. She also carried up a case of Chardonnay reserve from the basement in two seconds without a concern. She’s very organized and efficient. Should have paid attention to her name!!
Fun place to taste wine or sit back for a glass.

The view is Breathtaking!!!!

We walked in and were immediately drawn to the view of Keuka Lake. You can see the Chapel at Keuka College as well. The girls who did the tasting were knowledgeable and friendly. We seemed to bond over my travel experiences and the suggestion that they see a particular movie! The wines are excellent! Can't wait to go back!!!!

Great View--and That's About All
Sep 2018 • Friends
We visited Vineyard View on a beautiful fall day. The view from the winery is stunning, from both the grounds and the tasting room. A lovely big sky, Keuka Lake, beautiful trees.

You should go for the view. Not the wines. The wines were swill. 6 people were in our group, we all tried several different wines--and we all disliked all of them. The whites. The reds. The sweet whites. All bad.

The service was not much better. The woman working the tasting counter was rushing--she had family outside and was very keen to spend time with them--and she also knew almost nothing than the one or two things on the tasting sheet about each wine. The rushed tasting did not make for a very nice experience, especially when compared with the very nice reception we received at other wineries in the area.

Great View; So So (in our opinion) Wine, No Crackers/Cleansing Items
Aug 2018 • Couples
Wine is all a matter of taste. We found one wine we liked out of our tasting selection. However, they did not have any crackers or pairing items that we found at other places. They do have a great view of the area and that is worth a visit. Their white were better (again in our opinion) than the reds.

In fairness we came closer to closing time and we felt a bit rushed. Part our fault and part their fault.

Signage getting to the place was small and we almost drove by the street.

Attention: Military (active, retired, vets) they offer 20% discount in addition to other discounts.

Wines with a View
Aug 2018 • Couples
We stopped here on a Tuesday morning. The tasting room and view were gorgeous. The wines were delicious. My only criticism is that the girl working there was more interested in writing a sign than serving us. She only stopped to quickly pour our samples with no information given. She also seemed bothered by questions we asked. As I'm sure she wasn't going to be all that busy on a weekday, and we were the only ones there, I feel her sign could have waited.
