Easy access to dam from Zambian side. Probably the friendliest customs and border staff I have ever seen. Quick paperwork, leave your passport at customs, get entry permit and drive through. Collect your passports when returning. A must see sight.

The dam wall is a must-visit if you are in Siavonga or Kariba town. The scale of it is simply striking! The view downstream is marred a bit by the ongoing construction work but the hills on Zim side are as picturesque as ever!

Really beautiful views and sunsets. You can go onto dam wall at border if you hand in passports at customs and pick them up on return.

I am always amazed whenever I hear from people that Kariba Lake is man-made due to the construction of the Kariba Dam. It's even more amazing to finally see the dam and connect the story, the view of the lake and the view of the...More

No cheetah or lion walks available at Siavango. Closest experience in Zambia would be in Lusaka (Cheetahs). No bungee jumping either. Closest would be on Bridge at Victoria Falls.

Roads are not bad, but some parts you just need to drive carefully and slow, especially mountains area. Sedan will be fine if driving during the day
