Saw Get The Led Out and as always enjoyed the show and the artists. The bathrooms have been renovated and renovations of this landmark theater are on going. There are muchies available with both wine and beer to wet ones alcohol buds. Dan Smalls is continuing to bring talented shows to this theater monthly and movies are shown occasionally. Parking... I just saw a Led Zeppelin Tribute Band, Get the Led Out, at the State Theater in Ithaca, NY. The band was remarkably spot-on. It was a 2 1/2 hour show with one intermission. If you like Led Zeppelin, this is the group of performers for you. The State Theatre is in the process on being refurbished. I can tell... More

I have seen several plays and concerts in this fine old theatre. I am so proud of Ithaca for keeping the space alive. It is a chance to experience a large, ornate theatre that conjures up endless speculation about its rich past. I have been here about five times for different types of events and the audience has always appeared... More

There's some big name acts that come to the State Theatre for a small town like Ithaca. It is nice inside with plenty of seating.

We've been to concerts, children's theater, and comedy at the State Theatre of Ithaca. Acoustics are good, the crowd is friendly, and the venue is within walking distance of many good restaurants and shops. We generally park a few blocks away and walk- saves time and frustration in finding a parking spot.

It is worth being on their mailing list because I don't get to hear of their shows otherwise. Went to hear Gordon Lightfoot perform there and it was a treat for the price that we paid. It is equivalent to the best venues in terms of concert experience but the tickets are generally more affordable. The biggest constraint was the... More

We recently attended a concert with Arlo Guthrie at the State Theater. What a gorgeous establishment! It is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. The theater hosts comedians, musical acts, and classic movies. The acoustics are excellent and the building an architectural gem! We will be looking at this venue's schedule of events and returning again soon.

If You are traveling to the Ithaca, NY. area, checkout the State Theatre just a stones throw from the Totally Renewed Ithaca Commons. I know someone on the Board and He goes to the Farthest Extent to bring the Big Name Shows to the State. If You Like Entertainment - Get On Their Mailing List.

The State Theater of Ithaca is one of the only fully restored vaudeville theaters in upstate New York. Both the interior and exterior are completely restored to their beautiful, high quality from the late 1920s and early 1930s. One can find a great variety of entertainment as this venue. World famous musicians, comedians, performance artists, and classic films are shown... More
