The botanical garden is accessible even later in the evening for a quick stop. Very enjoyable with all plants clearly labeled. The master gardeners do a great job. Calm, pleasant way to end one's day. The huge acreage is good for a time when you can hike or stroll, or bike through a well kept environment dedicated to nature

We visited during a drought in the area but loved the variety of plants. Everyone was so friendly! The visitors center was opened on a Sunday!!! Handicapped accessible.

Winter is lovely in the Arboretum and Winter Garden; Spring begins with early spring wildfowers in the Woodland Garden followed by an explosion of blossoms on azalea and rhododendron hill; and then an unfolding of summer... What a beautiful campus! We walked around Beebe Lake and saw the falls on this river. There's a pay parking lot near the gift shop area.

There are many species on display. You can drive through the arboretum and then stop by plantations to enjoy a leisurely walk through the gardens.
