Upon entry you can detect the antiquity of this palace. Valet parka your car, the inside and outside are a classy venue. The fid is served to temperature, the cocktails are perfect and not overpowering. It's a great place to meet the ladies A must visit in winter and summer (for the views)

We made reservations for a tour of the mansion and a delicious lunch, in a beautiful dining room. As soon as you drive up to the buildings you can get an idea of how elegant and beautiful the grounds are. The tour took us all through the mansion, to the bridal suites and elegant hotel. There is a lot of... More

Did the Castle tour and the story is great! Loved how they showed pictures from the past. The story is impressive as is the fact that tv shows and videos have been filmed there. Just a fun time and loads of information. Cudos to the owners...they had a dream and are making it work!!!

This was a ladies day. We did the tour of the Mansion and then lunch. Tours start at 11 a.m. and we chose our Luncheon for 12 noon. Each was $25. plus tax. This building is 115,000 square feet and each room is beautifully appointed. The food was excellent. The Castle is opulent and primarily used for weddings. It is... More

I took my wife there for a surprise b-day weekend. The place is totally awesome - so much history, the architecture, the restoration, the grounds and of course the accomodations are terrific. The on site restaurant is terrific as well. If you have a special lady and want to spend a special night or weekend, give Oheka a try. Plus,... More

My husband and I went on a luncheon tour and it was just delightful. We even got to meet the owner of the castle who greeted us and introduced himself during our lunch.

We planned to tour the castle on our drive from The Hamptons to NYC but should have done better research. We drove to the back and had a nice view, while following our GPS only to find that it was posted as "Private Property". After asking directions at the local country club, we drove around and found the main gate,... More

Step back in time to European/Gold Coast elegance right off Jericho Turnpike. As a birthday treat a group of us made reservations for the tour and lunch. The enthusiastic guide brought the history alive, it was like stepping back in time. The gardens are beautiful and you seem far away from the reality of Long Island today. The fourth floor... More

I was there in April and had a lovely tour guide. Learn the history of Otto Kahn and how his home is there today because it was built with fire proof walls. Otto also wanted to be on the highest hill around at that time. The inside is lovely old furniture from the early 1900's. Spectacular views outside looking at... More

You feel important just driving up there. Everyone must be buzzed into the property via the gatehouse. Must make a reservation to visit as they sell out. Lovely grand estate that has been preserved, renovated, and one of America's Historic Castle Hotels. Just imagine it in its glory days. Stay and grab a bite at the bar. I always state... More
