Who doesn't love books and this little library is filled with a great variety to make every book reader happy. The children's section has a big box of Lego's that delights my grandson.

ON LI we all know that our libraries are like our Mains Streets.
More than books and computers are the programs that come into the library
mid week or Sunday afternoons.

I attended an AARP class in a very comfortable meeting room downstairs. Elevator was convienent and walls were full of art and notices of future events. it was a busy library with comfortable seating. Only complaint was i couldnt find a parking lot. I found a spot on the street that had a parking meter. Libraries are financed by taxes. There should b a convenient parking spot for its patrons.

We love the HPL. It's not only a library but a true community center. The staff are first rate and will help you with anything you need. Many clubs meet here and there is always programs for adults, teens and children. We are fortunate to have this library in our town. BTW, the magazine room has been refreshed and they've even added a fireplace (not for burning books, I hope). The HPL is open 7 days a week all year long. Stop in and check it out.

This is a peerless facility -- an unmatched treasure for the community. The staff is superbly helpful. The range and variety of programs offered, mostly free, are enormous. Everyone can find something from young mothers with toddlers to super senior citizens. The Friends of the Library accepts book donations which are available for purchase at prices as low as 50 cents. Lot of comfortable chairs and a whole bank of computers to use along with printers. Well located on main street with free parking very close by. Words are not enough to describe this treasure. I bring out of town guests to this place and they always say "Wow! What a place! Our public library does not come close."

I've been using this library for many years. Over the years it's gotten a bit dingy, especially the magazine room - I definitely don't want to sit in there for any length of time. I am able to get good reading materials here and the staff is very nice and helpful but the place really needs an update. The bathrooms on the main floor are really nice and clean though - there's even a baby changing table.
