Please do not waste your time or money at Hunter Mountain. We were there for President's Day weekend. It was so far beyond overcrowded, it was ridiculous and down right offensive. The lines were forever long (30-45 minutes) and understaffed. When 4 lines converge, usually...More

We just got back from a mid-week ski-n-stay at the Kaatskill Mountain Club Lodge. It was a great deal so we opted to give it a shot. Overall a good experience, but not enough that I would return. Windham has treated me well for the...More

It’s a mad house otherwise. The instruction is strong but the people who come to Hunter are overstate their ability to ski so it’s dangerous when crowded. It good for people who are very confident skiers but if you are beginner ... note there are...More

Hunter is a great mountain. Still as crowed on the weekends as I remember when I skied it 25 years ago. The mountain has grown and there is much more expert trails than years ago. The crowds though on the weekends are crazy. The buses...More

This place is a good alternative for NYC or Northern Jersey skiers, if going further to VT or upper NY is too far away. It is very popular, so to expect a long line on weekend or holidays. We have been to Hunter and Windham....More

We did a package trip to the mountain. The place can't control the snow so this review is solely focused on equipment rental and BRUTAL does not describe the clusterf&&k that I participated in this past weekend. They have been in business for years and...More

Can't say enough how friendly everyone is. They welcome you like family. Fun & Friendly. A little pricey, but enjoyable.

The Ski Patrol and Ambassadors do nothing about ski safety, telling people to slow down, not to stand in the middle of the slope,etc.. Lift attendants are negligent, with people getting hurt while getting off of the lifts. A lift attendant OD'ed last week at...More

Peak Resorts definitely does not make snow the way the previous owners did. There have been days that were cold enough but they didn't make snow. Yes, the weather has not been consistent but they should be making snow at every opportunity. Coverage is very...More

Hi Globe, I would follow accuweather and/or the weather channel. Weather is not a 100% exact science and the storm track could always change. Also, make sure you have a full tank of gas and a car with 4wd or good snow... More
