We happen to be staying in Tannersville when they had the ski lift (aka Sky Ride) open for the weekend. We enjoyed a beautiful, quiet ride up the mountain for $12 each (worth it and yes the ride down is included). Once at the top we hiked a bit toward the fire tower although the trail does get very steep... More

The Mountain Jam 2016 performances are here. Beautiful grounds for the first week of June. Lift was open during the Jam! I posted pics. If you find this review helpful please acknowledge.

We stayed in a really nice condo for a few days & it was well worth it. Make sure you get a 2nd Floor one too!

My friends and I go up to Hunter Mountain for skii and snowboarding during the winter time. I'm impressed with their crowd management system that handles the huge weekend crowds with efficiency and still maintaining great customer service.

This resort did everything to make our stay as well as the wedding we were attending, a truly memorable occasion. They provided us with wood for a nightly fire, opened the pool early to accommodate us, and answered all our questions. Rooms were impeccably clean, well stocked, (loved the keurig) and comfortable. Copper Tree inn was beautiful, food was delicious... More

Hunter mountain is a great place located only 2 hours (without traffic) away from NYC. I highly recommend to go during the week because is less crowded. The weekends are very crowded and there will be lines for the lifts. As a rider I do enjoy the blue squares. You can go on "long" rides and still get some good... More

People kept telling me how crowded Hunter is. I was pleasantly surprised. This season there was no snow - Hunter probably got 10 inches of natural snow fall, yet they were able to maintain a 20-50 inch base with their rigorous snow making. Amazing. The staff on the mountain was very friendly. While I was disappointed that there were no... More

I came just off season, the lifts just closed. As I checked in I was greeted cheerfully and was offered hiking trail maps. This resort had a lovely outdoor heated pool and wonderful hot tubs with a view of the slopes. I ate at the Copper Tree Restaurant. I was there for an affair and they served filet mignon with...
