The grounds are well maintained, caverns tour very interesting and gem mining fun. A few years younger and I would have loved the H2O ball and ropes course. We enjoyed watching from afar. On the cave tour, we wore shorts and sweatshirts and were warm...More

The last time I visited Howe Caverns was almost 30 years ago. Except for a more modern elevator the place hasn't changed. There's plenty of parking, a cafeteria for a quick bite, and of course a gift shop. There are several cave tours to select...More

The tour guides are very informative and the tour is unique. It’s not all the time you get to safely go about 150 feet into the earth to see a river, stalagtites and stalagmItes!, DEFINITELY worth the admission price.

Visited with an 11 year old and a twelve year old. They loved it! The caves are beautiful. The boat ride is cool. Very historical.

The caverns are stunning! The tour guide was knowledgeable, personable and funny. She did a great job. The only thing that was confusing was the lines to get tickets and to get in. There are multiple lines and you need to know which one you...More

Thank goodness the Caves speak for themselves. Greatly enjoyed this natural resource available to us. Especially in light of the tragedy in Thailand which really gave a new perspective. These caves are beautiful and amazing and everyone should have the opportunity to see them. Unfortunately,...More

The tours are about one hour and 45 minutes. Lines can be long but we only waited about 10 minutes. If you go in the afternoon, the lines are shorter but check time of tours. They cut them off in mid afternoon. We got... More

The main roads around the caverns are pretty wide, but when you get closer to the caverns the roads are narrower and I remember a few turns that I'm not sure a large camper would be able to handle easily.
