I took my 4 year old son to the caverns last weekend. It was, in a word, FANTASTIC. The attraction is very well maintained - clean and spotless buildings, and with extremely helpful and friendly staff. The tour guide was knowledgeable. The caverns themselves are...More

We were a bit skeptical as we followed the signs to the attraction as they're a throwback (or probably original) to the 1960s. The area where you purchase the tickets could also use an update but there was a nice display of history about the...More

I'm embarrassed to admit that I've lived in NY state for decades and had never heard of Howe Caverns. Just visited with my husband and 10 year old and we all loved it. The caves are pretty incredible, the tour guides are young enthusiastic students,...More

We had a very nice time, the tour guide was good, all of the employees were very nice. I think there should be more than one bench in the "vestibule" - that's the reason for only 4 stars.

I saw a brochure and my sister & I decided to check it out on a rainy day. Great find! A brief history of it's discovery in 1842, then an elevator ride into the cave, a guide walked us through giving more history as we...More

We returned to Howe Caverns recently during our summer vacation. We had visited a few times when the kids were younger, but it had been 10 years since then. The caverns have developed a lot since then into a tourist destination. The parking lot is...More
