y wife and myself had a brilliant massage at the bush spa in South Luangwa national park. During the heavy rains it was a welcome relaxation. The staff of the spa was very professional and so were the massages.
Very recommendable

What an experience!

Extremely kind an skilled staff. Yvonne gave me an amazing holistic (full) body massage which is otherworldly and almost makes you forget that you are actually already in a real-life dreamworld on the platform overseeing the lagoon and all its animals.

Lovely visit with my mom
Oct 2019 • Solo
Took my mother there for a treatment for her 50’th birthday present, this woman has been at spa’s All over the world! From the radisson blu to the Hilton she has had treatments all over and she said hands down this is the best massage she has ever had. She had a Swedish relaxation (deep tissue) treatment and its a very fair price for the 60
Minutes of pleasure you get! I can and do recommend this place to every traveler I meet in south luangwa!

Blissful massage
Aug 2019 • Solo
I stayed at Thornicroft Lodge on an Art Safari and booked fir a massage at Bush Spa on my first day - between game drives. The hot stone massage was blissful - on an open platform, overlooking the lagoon. Hippos, crocs and a fish eagle kept me company.

The best of the best!

The Bush Spa is my absolute favourite. I have done many Spa treatments in my life, but The Bush Spa brings it all together. The Spa is located in the middle of the amazing South Luangwa National Park. Driving to the Spa is already a mini gamedrive as there is a big possibility to spot elephants, giraffes, puku and many more.

The ladies at the Spa are very friendly and professional and will make sure you feel at ease right away. And then the treatment itself: these ladies know what they are doing! This is one of the best massages I ever had. All your sensess will be triggered. The smell of the lovely massage oils, the sounds of the birds and hippos chilling in the lagoon.... what more must I say?

The Bush Spa is the full experience! ❤️

Massage with the sounds of hippos
Jun 2019 • Couples
We were not staying at the Mfuwe Lodge where this spa is located. We went because our nearby lodge had some materials about it. And so glad we did. The massage (hot stone) was great and relaxing. The surroundings were magical. And everyone was very friendly. The spa came to pick us up at our lodge and took us back. Price was competitive to what one would pay elsewhere.

Lovely spa experience in the middle of the African bush!
Nov 2018 • Friends
A unique luxury spa experience with hippos lounging and grunting in the pond that the spa sits over. The treatment rooms have 3 walls with no back wall sitting directly over the pond. The sounds of nature offer an incredible elixir that is soothing beyond any music. You are treated to a special drink and cool towels upon arrival (a very lovely touch!) We had a visit by a special visitor - a snake feeding on a frog in the rafters above the reception/lounge area. The staff took it all in stride while those of us who are a little leery of reptiles kept our distance. 😀 The massage was excellent and I kept dozing on and off.

Great massage with a quick visit from a baboon!
Aug 2018 • Solo
I made an appointment for a massage following two days at one of the camps at the suggestion of one of the lodge employees. It was terrific! The spa is wonderful, and I had a very relaxing massage. The treatment room overlooks the lagoon so I heard hippos, and a couple baboons scampered across the roof at one point! You can't find that just anywhere! It was a great experience and I highly recommend it!
