Very cool jewelry made from confiscated elephant snares that raises money for conservation programs. What could be better?

Very different way of helping the conservation efforts and supporting local employment - much of the unique hand made jewellery is made from snare wires and a portion of sales is given to Conservation South Luangwa. The shop and factory is a little out of...More

Nice place to visit but items vastly overpriced. Good to see the workers at work and nice displays but at the asking price was way above what one can find elsewhere in Malawi.

It is a bit difficult to find the place but what they do there is amazing! They transform materials used for poaching into art! It is a bit expensive but they are funding local projects and protecting wildlife.

Jewelry made from the snares confiscated from poachers as well as currency, beads, etc. Your purchase gives back to the animals.

Jewellry made from snare wire collected by anti-poaching patrols with semi precious stone, freshwater pearls and hand carved wooden beads. A % of proceeds helps with the anti poaching patrols.

The small workshop/shop carries a wide range of jewelry - notably the pieces made from snares used by poachers - and other locally sourced items like leather and cloth bags. Prices are lower than online.
