We arrived at the port with the jeep and from here about 15 of us landed in SaKatia. After a short tour around the island we had lunch in a lodge on the beach and after a little relaxation on the boat again to dive into the water to see the large turtles. Very nice to swim with them, see them eat or appear on the surface. A very nice trip,

We did not take advantage of the excursions offered by the village but we chose to go by private boat being two families. We contacted Franco from Italy on whatsapp at +261 32 50 958 32. I really Recommendation because he really went out of his way to organize all our excursions. When we went by boat he organized lunch at the beach with freshly caught lobsters and delicious grilled fish, as well as vegetables and desserts. He organized the quad bike excursion and picked us up in the village. You can find it on the beach of Andilana along with the other beach boys. Fantastic experience.

Unique experience lived during our week in Nosy Be. Together with the kind, funny and well-organized guide of Cosimo Cael we went on an excursion to Nosy Sakatia experiencing the magic of bathing together with giant turtles. Unforgettable!!! If you are planning a similar trip, Cosimo Cael is highly recommended for organizing your excursions. You can contact him on +261326834419.

Day organized perfectly by the Oceane's Dream team with whale watching and especially snorkeling with green turtles. Our whole family (6 adult divers and 2 children 9 and 6 years) was amazed. To top it all off the lunch organized on the beach was very good and the small nap always on the beach super quiet were very appreciated. We all want to go back.

My adult daughter and I took 3 excellent day-tours with Fossa Travel. Elio was our gouide for all of them since he speaks English. Sakatia is not far from the west coast of Nosy Be where our hotel Ravinstara is. For this tour, the boat came to the beach of our htel - how very convenient. When we arrived at Sakatia, we snorkeled off the boat, first in an area called the turtle pool. It is a place that turtles are often seen and we were also lucky. We followed one for a little while and then turned back a found two others that we watched eating. Later the boat took us to another area for snorkeling where we saw pretty fish, giant clams, anemones and a lot of dead coral. I think it is like this worldwide because of global warming. It is very sad. But we enjoyed what was alive and enjoyed the snorkeling more than on Tanikely.
Lunch was excellent. Freshly grilled fish, BBQ shrimp and zebu, coconut rice and fresh salad and fresh fruit for dessert.
We took a walk to the local village with Elio and bought a hat from one of the many vendors along the beach.
It was a delightful day.

Beautiful island with beautiful sea. I snorkeled and saw turtles. Arrived at the fishermen's village on the sea I walked inside and saw many stalls with sarongs and many souvenirs. Lots of children and quiet women. Arrived in about 20 minutes by motorboat.

What beauty of nature, truly a place to see. We were able to swim with turtles in a translucent sea. Nature lovers, I recommend it.
We wanted to make it simple to get there, do something new, it was great in the canoe.

We enjoyed lunch and a swim at the beach. The water is warm but the beach not quite as pretty as some of the other islands close by. We had lunch and bought some sarongs and gifts from the very enthusiastic traders .

Incredible experience. I loved it so much I went there twice! As you look at the beach area from the sea, to the far left is the best coral reef I've seen in my life. It is a living reef with many colors and fish of all kinds. It's an underwater jungle. Closer to the beach is the sea grass with huge turtles everywhere. They are bigger than me from head to tail. These turtles are not shy and they are used to people swimming over, under and around them. Please don't grab them or harass them.

Easy snorkeling in shallow water with easy beach or boat access. One can swim from the beach. Clean, clear water. Shopping on the shore with the locals.
