August 2, 2023... For the second time we trust Baleines Rand'eau. And we don't regret it (never)... They listen... They follow your request...
This time, it is Cassandra who will serve as our guide (1st outing alone with clients for her). We will be "led" by his captain whom we will quickly call "Captain Super Mario". For the day, whale watching and a visit to the island of Iranja are planned... And what a day! Cassandra was professional, competent, available and very pleasant company throughout the excursion. We thank her and recommend her without any restrictions :-)... Our Captain, very responsive, very professional, very kind too... Thanks to him... We will have the chance to see whales (which unfortunately probe too often ), pseudorcas (very rare), a school of several hundred dolphins!! Magic !!! Sea turtles... As written above, this is the 2nd outing that we have done with Rand'eau... We recommend them 100%... We say a big thank you to them and we wish them an excellent and a long continuation.. Thierry, Christine, Ennio & Sophie..

Bivouac in Nosy Iranja marked forever thanks to a great team and the knowledge and good humor of Léonce and Jidy! Everything was perfect: getting into the water with dolphins, fish and turtles was just magical! Cherry on the cake: surprise hatching of baby turtles after the sunset aperitif then laying eggs around 10 p.m. 😍 Thank you Baleines Rand’eau, I’ll be back!💞

The start was that the organization was very nice on mail and they helped a lot. When we arrived at the place, the area was very relaxed and nice. A good place to have a drink as well. We were welcomed by very friendly people and we did the payment. Our instructor (who speaks English and French) got us on the boat and we first went to Nosy Sakatia, where we went snorkeling with some sea turtles which was fantastic!
After this stop we got a short briefing on how to act around whale sharks not to disturb them. Then we went looking for them in the open ocean. Very fast we saw the first one and you get in the water and they say where you have to swim to and you can find them! They swim fast, so you can't stay too long with them. Overall we saw 4 different individuals and went in the water around 15 times seeing them every time except 1 (others saw it).
Seeing a whale shark could not be more impressive and was one of my absolute highlights in 7 weeks of Madagascar. This company was fantastic from start till the end and I will recommend them absolutely. This was an unforgettable experience.

Communication to book the tours was fast and very efficient! Visited nosy iranja and sakatia hoping to see some whales and shark whales but unfortunately I wasn’t lucky.
Both tours were very well organized, food was plenty and delicious. The boats were in very good condition and had sun protection and the group size was perfect!
The guide to noisy iranja wasn’t too informative and I was disappointed that by the time we got to the sand bank, the tide was high. so I would recommend visiting there as soon as you arrive.
In contrast my guide to sakatia/shark whales,Emily, was fantastic! She was very caring about each one of us making sure you didn’t have questions or need anything. She was super knowledgeable and I sure learned much from her, not to mention that her English was excellent!
If you want more than just visiting the island make sure Emily is your guide!

We did two outings (nosy iranja and the tanikelY duo, nosy sakatia). AWESOME. Léonce the guide was very pleasant, showed us lots of things.
The boss Tanguy is very welcoming and gave us lots of good addresses (taxi and nosy komba...)
We hope to be able to return one day in October during whale shark season to go out with them again. Do not change

organizes marine animal observation trips in a very professional manner. They also offer 2 days on Nosy Iranja with bivouac, all meals and search for whales, whale sharks, manta rays, dolphins, turtles, etc… Everything is extremely well organized. The island is truly heavenly and worth the detour. They are located in the hotel at Sanga. I recommend them to you

A great way to spend the night on Nosy Iranja. They were very responsive with the planning and our guide was excellent. They were able to pick us up from Nosy Komba (for an extra cost), even though they leave from Nosy Be. Snorkeling gear is provided. The boat ride to and from Nosy Iranja was also a highlight. We saw dolphins, sea turtles, and a whale shark. Nosy Iranja was a highlight of our trip and we think it’s worthwhile to spend a night there.

Exceptional experience with Baleines Rand’eau!
We went to the island of Nosy Iranja accompanied by captain Franck and guide Léonce.
We were able to have a unique experience swimming with 2 whale sharks (the season was over, which made this unexpected encounter all the more incredible) as well as swimming with turtles once we arrived on the island.
We couldn't dream of a more kind and passionate guide than Léonce. He was very concerned about our comfort and worked to make every moment of this stay a unique moment. His fascination with the whale shark was transmitted to us, we could listen to it for hours because it is so fascinating. The stay would not have been the same without Léonce!
We slept very comfortably in bungalows directly on the beach, which promises an unforgettable awakening.
I recommend without hesitation, it is the guarantee of a wonderful stay on one of the most exceptional islands in the world.

3 dream days with whale hiking in Nosy Iranja. The exceptional guide Leonce, who took great care of us and was an expert in whale sharks, he knew how to share his passion.
And Tanguy, the manager, happily helped us with our family organization.
I highly recommend!

Hello,
we are a group of 4 people and we wanted to ask about snorkel diving, if you can provide us with this. We do not have much experience. How much will it cost us all day? If possible, from the civilization.
We have another question about whale watching. How many trip this trip. How sure is that we will see them?
The last question is whether it is possible to arrange for us a boat trip to Nosy Hara Island? One day the ship would take us there. We would stay there overnight and come back for the next day and bring us to the mainland? How much will it go?
Yours sincerely, Jozef, Elena, Patrik and Katja.
