We knew that this tour agency charges a bit more than the other places in Nosy Be for whale shark watching safari but there are reason behind this price include Well organized trip, an excellent and perfect guide, good boat, nice lunch and of course showing us many and many whale sharks and Turtles There are many privileges with doing safari with them. We were finished by watching whale sharks, our guide saw again them some where, he stopped the boat and asked every body to jump in the water, he wanted to show us much, even when the time was over Thanks

Yes, this is the fourth time (see my previous reviews). Three years ago I chose this company after my previous two attempts to see this magnificent animal with two other companies failed. Since then, having become absolutely addicted to whale sharks, I have been coming to Nosy Be every year just to see them. And Les Baleines Rand’eau have never disappointed me. This time was even more fantastic than ever before. On the whole, the boat stopped 10 or 12 times and I saw the whale shark every time although once I was absolutely stunned to see two (!) whale sharks feeding together (later that day, at Nosy Sakatia, I did capture two green turtles in one snapshot). One of these two whale sharks, as could be expected, left in a couple of seconds. Unfortunately, they were too big to capture both of them in one snapshot, but this sight I will never forget. All of the sharks were juvenile, 5-7 m long, all of them male. I cannot thank Les Baleines Rand’eau enough for this incredible experience, this immense delight they gave me. You are a splendid, extremely competent company with great captains and great guides. Thank you so much, guys, hope to see you next year!

They are a little hard to find, so make sure you leave plenty of time for getting here. The tour was very punctual and we almost left behind some guests so punctuality is key. Our guide Guillame was very patient and was super keen on finding the whales. We got to swim with whale sharks and saw 2 hump back whales in the wild which was really cool. We had a tasty lunch on the beach at Sakatia and were fortunate to swim with some turtles afterwards. The guide and captain made this possible because we had given up, but in 2 minutes of getting in, he found the turtle. We would have loved to be dropped off at our hotel which was on the way, instead of getting back to town. In general we loved the tour and recommend especially if your staying in Madrodikely or Antaloaka.

This was honestly fantastic. We were picked up from a hotel on Nosy Be (forgotten which one) and were taken to Nosy Iranja. The journey was long, but was broken up by whale watching. We swam with whales in the middle of the ocean and it was probably the best thing I have ever done. It was simply fantastic. We spoke basic french but it didn't matter as there were a few people who spoke english. Nosy Iranja is stunning and you stay in fantastic tents right on the beach. Food is really good and you are given caipirinhas to drink on the beach looking at the bright red sunset. It's postcard stuff and probably one of most beautiful places i've ever been to. On the second day you are taken to go snorkeling with sea turtles and shark watching. I have never seen so much incredible marine life whilst snorkeling. If you are on Nosy Be you have to do this!

From start to finish, this experience was just incredible. Our guides were so knowledgeable and VERY respectful of the whale sharks. They were conservation-focused, which was excellent. We saw three groups of them and it was breathtaking to see them up close. Also got to swim alongside majestic green turtles. The lunch they served on the island afterward was also top-notch. Lots of vegetarian options.
