The tour was very educational. The tour guide was interesting and told many unknown facts about West Point. I would suggest going during the school year when the school is actually in session.

We took the one hour tour. Our tour guide Jennifer is a teacher and Army wife. She gave a terrific tour filled with interesting history, anecdotes, and facts about West Point. The view from Trophy Point is spectacular! To look at the parade grounds, you sense the history. We were unable to visit the chapel as the cadets were marching... More

We took the two hour tour, which includes the cemetery. Unfortunately, it was Sunday morning so we couldn't visit the chapel on the tour, but since I'm retired military we could get back on base to visit the chapel later. Our guide was excellent. He was very knowledgeable, and had a good sense of humor. I've been to USMA before,... More

What an incredible 2 hour tour of The Point and Fort Putnam this past Sunday, August 2, with my family, 4 adults, 2 boys ages 7 and 10. Visited the Museum first which is admission-free, and saw incredible videos and exhibits, including the white sash worn by Robert E. Lee. The grounds and panoramic views of the Hudson River leaves... West Point Tours offers a one hour tour and a 2 hour tour. We took the one hour tour, and were very pleased with our tour guide (Ed). He was extremely knowledgeable of West Point and its history. Parking is free and the tour is via an air-conditioned yellow school bus. Half the tour is on the bus and the... More

We took the one hour West Point Tour which you can sign up for right at the Visitor's Center. Our guide was an ex-army woman who married an Army career man and lived on the base. She had so much knowledge about West Point, past and present. We visited many places on the tour, all informative about things we didn't... More

Visiting West Point these days means dealing with heightened security and limited access to the campus. Given the restrictions, I think West Point Tours does a very good job of providing visitors with an informative overview of the Academy's history and cadet life. My family and I chose the two hour tour that included the Revolutionary-era Fort Putnam in addition... More

Having visited all of the other service academies we were pleased to make this visit. Our guide, Joe, was very good and we enjoyed learning all he had to share. The grounds are lovely, the buildings beautiful, and although it pains this former Naval Officer to say so, the academy is as impressive as The Naval Academy.

Overall, I was very disappointed. I don't feel like I received $14 worth of anything. The bus took us around the grounds, we got out for a while to look at the parade ground, a couple of stautes (which you couldn't see because they were so far away) and the view of the river, and that was it. We didn't... More
