There are two tours available, 1 hour and 2 hour. We took the two hour which adds the cemetery walk and a few other stops. There is a lot of walking on the 2 hour so be advised. Any tour is only as good as the tour guide and ours was excellent. She was a West Point grad married to... More

I recently visited West Point with a group of Boy Scouts. Unlike other military academies, all tours of West Point are done with this agency. Many of the tour guides are the wives of men who work/teach at West Point, so they are very knowledgeable. There are a couple different tours with varying lengths of time that you can take.... More

A comfortable bus and immensely knowledgeable tour guide slowly take you through the grounds of the academy, explaining the history of the Academy within the context of the history of the US. There is a stop at the primary chapel (there are a total of 6 chapels) that houses an enormous pipe organ (so many pipes that they literally line... More

We were very impressed with West Point and the quality of the tour. In 1 hour and 15 minutes, we traveled throughout the campus, learned the history of the institution and the area, about cadet life, visited the main chapel, parade grounds and other key stops.

Went on the tour 2 days ago, due to walking problems, I stayed on the bus when the tour got out at the field for the tour and a look at the chain that once spanned the river. Got to see the cadets instead doing exercises as part of Beast week. Tour guide and bus driver extremely knowledgeable and entertaining.... More

The tour covered the history of the Academy, and some cool facts. We enjoyed our guide, she made the tour really fun.

A bus carries you from the visitor center into the guarded West Point location. Our guide gave an excellent tour of the grounds, the beautiful chapel, the cemetery, and the parade grounds. She willingly answered questions as they arise, and was sensitive to the need for share on a hot summer day. When the rigors of the program at West... More

Fantastic tour and although we are a Navy family we loved seeing everything. Every person should take this tour and it's on a shuttle bus as there are many hills

We were able to walk up and get tickets during the week. We chose the 2 hour tour and enjoyed all of the history and information shared. We were on the school bus only because the tour bus had a broken AC. The school bus had AC so that was fine. We were able to get out at the church,... More

The West Point Visitors center is closed and fenced for long term renovations and remodeling. The West Point tours and gift shop have been temporarily relocated to very large portable facilities in the same parking lot. On line reservations for the tour are recommended and PLEASE pay close attention to the identification requirements for your ENTIRE party. The tour guides... More
