A good venue for ages 2 to 6. Older kids are often bored. I wish the show was longer and the history lesson shortened. Colorful, musical, and a good value

We went to this nice theater and we had a lot of fun. It's really interesting to learn about puppet and see the small museum with puppet and marionette around the world. The show was fun and kept my 3 years old attention. It's a must to experience.

We took our 4 and 6 year old to see the mermaid puppet show yesterday. It was cute. The theatre is adorable and the gentleman who works there was very nice. It was about an hour long and we were the only ones in the audience for a 1:30pm show. It would be a nice place for a birthday party.…

My husband and I took our two yr old to the Elmo puppet show. The theater itself was interestingly decorated (cute), but does seem a little outdated. It looks nothing like it's picture on the website. It is a small theater, if I am remembering correctly, about 6 rows of wooden bench seats. It was an interactive show, which was great that a 2 yr old could be a 2 yr old and run around and dance without being scolded. It was a little cheesy, for lack of a better word. One man would yell out for a character (Elmo, Bert, etc) and then pull out a hand puppet. There were no voices for the characters of any kind, just the man talking to the puppet and the kids handing objects to the puppets. It was something fun for an hour, but I am not sure I would do it again. One suggestion for the theater, at the end of the show, the man put on music and laser lights and walked away. The track was put on repeat (this was done once before in the middle of the show for the kids to dance to). There was no real conclusion to the show. All the parents kept looking around, wondering if that was in fact the end (after the track repeated 3-4 times). I would suggest some sort of signal, like "this now concludes the show, but children are welcome to stay and dance for the next 10 minutes".…

Couldn't be happier. We celebrated our sons 7th Birthday at the Long Island Puppet Theater. Everyone....children and adults....had a GREAT time. The magic show and the safari puppet show were amazing. All the children participated in the fun. The shows are very interactive and entertaining. The food was yummy....and for a small fee they even deck the whole place out. There are different party themes that you can choose from. There is something for everyone. This place is like no other!! You have got to see it to believe it. If you are looking for a unique birthday party experience LOOK NO FURTHER! THIS IS THE PLACE!!!…
