Despite their admirable biologically dynamic wine philosophy, we were less impressed with their wines than we had hoped for. Also, as we understood it, they are only open on Sat and Sun. Late Sat, we ran into only a small crowd but they did not seem to be able to handle the group--much confusion and they served people walking in ahead of those of us who were waiting 30 minutes or so. Despite that, we did purchase a few wines. However, upon opening our Vin d'ete', we were disappointed with the level of degradation in 3 months, with the wine--a combination or gamay noir and cabernet franc (normally one of our favorites)--feeling weak, acidic, and not very fruity with or without food. We are hoping the cabernet franc is better when we open it.

Had a tasting with one of the winemakers, who was very welcoming and informative about their approach and mission. Bloomer Creek has a singular vision, producing wines with minimal intervention. The results are delicious and distinctive high-quality wines. Open only on Saturday and Sunday during high season. Really glad we made the effort to stop by. If you're serious about wine, check them out. Very attractive tasting room with more of a homey feel than many others in the area. Lovely view from the property.

Do not forget to visit this winery. They probably make the best white wines in Finger Lakes area. The couple produces only biologic dynamic wines, better: Natural wines. The quality is high: Well balanced, fulltime of pure fruit, abricots, lychee, etc. It is really pure sensation. Keep in mint that tasting is only on saterdays and sundays between 12 and 17.00 PM!

I discovered Bloomer Creek when researching the highest rated wineries near the home we were renting. I fell in love with this little place upon arrival. It is decorated with original art by the woman who poured our tasting for us. It has something of a "living room" vibe, and a refreshing breeze comes in the windows off the vines. The wines were unlike anything we tasted on our trip, and I would definitely visit again.

Traveling down route 414 in New York’s Finger Lake wine region we saw a sign for Bloomer Creek Winery. Since the purpose of our trip was to locate wineries we had never tried we pulled in. First off don’t let the outside of the tasting room put you off. When you walk in it is like walking into a cozy living room and just beautiful. But the real reason we were there is the wine. I have never tasted unfiltered wine or wine made in an old world way and this was a treat beyond compare. The taste was unique so delicious that i can’t wait to share it with others. One of the owners was the person behind the counter and so knowledgeable that the entire time spent there was amazing. Highly recommend trying this gem nestled in the finger lakes. You can’t go wrong
