One of the better wineries on the East side of Seneca Lake.

Excellent Saperavi and Riesling. Friendly staff and great fun to stop by. Already planning my next case of wine.

It has been around for quite some time, and the wine has improved over that time. The atmosphere is casual and rustic, and the view is gorgeous. It is a bit pricey, though, for the better wine selections.

Very friendly staff and excellent wines! Loved the rare varietal like saperavi (red) and Chardonnay dessert wine. Highly recommended!

This was our most charismatic hostess of the day. We were welcomed by the smell of freshly baked bread and served many generous pours, including a vertical tasting of one that interested us most! We could not resist buying wine from here after that tasting and even though this vineyard doesn't beckon from the road it is DEFINITELY worth a... More

Good wines, knowledgeable staff. The only drawback was the obvious overwhelming sales job by the staff. A bit stuffy.

The wines are unique and have tremendous flavor and complexity. The wines are pricey but worth the price. Our server was very knowledgeable and helpful and helped show us great ideas for pairing wine and food. We also joined the wine club, which I hope will be worth the money.

Fun stop on the wine trail to try some very nice dry wines!!! I visited with a small group of friends recently and the wine tasting was top notch. The dry whites were very good and we ended up purchasing some to bring back home to try with a pairing suggestion that was given to us. Definitely worth stopping by!!... More

We went to Standing Stone on a Sunday morning in October 2016. They had several good wines and the staff was very friendly and unhurried in their presentation. We had some great conversation with our server, who was obviously very passionate about her job! She even directed us to some other wineries that they thought we would like, based on... More

Our visit to Standing Stone Vineyards, on East Seneca, included a personal tour and barrel tasting (for a fee) with Marti Michinski, the vineyard owner. She is a real dynamo, very engaging, knowledgeable and understandably excited about her wines. She and her husband are very innovative winemakers. They have cultivated a grape varietal new to the Finger Lakes (Saperavi, a... More
