You'll fall in love with the fun and unique wines at Penguin Bay that range from dry to semi-sweet. What is more to love is the fact that a portion of all wine proceeds go to the endangered Humboldt penguins at the Syracuse Rosamond Gifford Zoo. So stop into our tasting room and pick a favorite wine to savor while you enjoy our lake view picnic facilities.

Very nice winery. More stuff to buy then you can even look at. So many neat home decorations and great wine too.

Except for the tour bus traffic (busy weekend per the staff), this was our favorite winery. It has a great view of the lake and the staff is very friendly. Their tasting fee is higher than most, but the staff member was very knowledgeable about their wines and spent some time talking with us.

Good wine. Wine tastings were $5. Not bad for six tastings. From Tastings to wine selection and gift shop the staff was very nice. They have a larger tasting bar behind the front area. We saw a few bridal parties enjoying that space. Nice that they can accommodate larger parties. We asked a server to take our picture in the... More

My visit to this winery for the first time was awesome! It certainly was a great experience, the staff was great explaining and supporting wines produced at winery. Had a wonderful experience and would recommend to others.

Their bubbly brut is delicious. No bar stools, so it was not a place I would linger in. However, they support animal charities, and the service was friendly. Looking forward to sharing their wines with friends.

We visited Penguin Bay winery this past weekend. We went for the cute Penguins on the bottles and for the fun decor, however we were very impressed with the professional and knowledgeable staff and friendly environment as well as the wine. The guys were very factual and professional and we feel we got the full tasting experience! Although many of... More

Penguin Bay definitely stood out amongst the wineries we visited on the Finger Lakes. Very knowlegable staff, a fun penguin-filled environment, and of course, very good wine for quite reasonable prices. The rieslings were my favorites, while my friends preferred the reds. Not the largest selection to choose from, but what they have is very good. Definitely worth a visit,... More

We were touring the wineries for a birthday and made penguin bay a stop we wanted to make. Upon arrival we were treated like they did not want us there. The place was empty, our party was the only one in the building, the kid behind the counter asked if we had a reservation. We told him no, from there,... More

I've been telling people for years that what you like in wine is a matter of individual taste. Penguin Bay wine is a prime example. We did the usual wine tasting (my wife and I shared the samples since we like the same kinds of wine.) We settled on purchasing a regular and a dry resiling and a cabernet franc... More
