This is a great hike but it is mostly a steep grade on a rocky trail. You can tell it's been eroded. It's well worth it when get to the falls and ledges. Just be careful as it can be a horrific drop.

Went early spring during the thaw, falls were great you can get right up to it. Ledges were neat at the top. It's up but not a rock climb. My 7 and 11 YO made it up just fine. Worth the visit. Plan 4 hours.

It's a significant hike! The views are amazing once you reach the top. Highly recommend it...but be careful!

Was definitely a work out for an out of shape couple - but we'll worth it for the view and to see some hand made rock furniture - very unique

It's a challenging hike up, but well worth it for the waterfall and then the sweeping views of the Upper Delaware River Valley!

You could approach the trail head driving trough Lordville which is accessible from road 97. The difficulty of the trail is moderate. Getting to the top takes 30 minutes. Prepare for an amazing view of the Delaware river.

We went in on the Lordville end. You will be surprised by the road that leads to the trail head, it is a dead end and doesn't look like it would lead to anything. But it is about 3 miles to the trailhead. The road...More
