My research told me this is the oldest winery in the Finger Lakes and its still going strong with great wines and most helpful staff. There was no pressure during the wine tasting. (A note: My wife chose to share samples at every winery. You don't get as big a taste, but what you do get is enough for two.)... More

This was a no pressure winery. Even though there were a lot of people in this last tasting time (4:30) there was no pressure to hurry through the tastings. They were willing to answer the questions several people had and very personable. Gorgeous setting

While not as high up in the slope overlooking Kueka Lake the expansive porch offers seating to enjoy the view. Wine tasting and selection is great too!

No trip to the Finger Lakes would be complete without sampling the many wine tasting options on the Senaca Lake Wine Trail. After spending 3 days, our favorite was Dr Frank's It is the oldest of the wineries and offers a free tasting of their wines. You can also tailor your tasting at very low cost to your preferences for... More

We decided to do the Keuka lake wine trail and all wineries charged a minimal fee for a tasting of a limited # of wines. Not at Dr. Frank's here there was no charge and our hostess was fun & knowledgeable not limiting us on our selections. Plus the wines were delicious & unique.

Family of 7 went mid-week afternoon. The 2 teenagers got bottled juice drinks and sat out on the large deck that overlooks Keuka Lake and played with their phones and took fabulous photos. This is not a place for unsupervised kids. A large group was leaving and we had the place mostly to ourselves. The five adults had a wonderful... More

We love visiting Dr. Frank, mainly because we love their wines. They are on the dry side, so go only if this is what you are looking for. We love their dry riesling and gruener veltliner most, though their brut sparkling wines were excellent as well. These are seriously good wines, suitable for laying down for years. The people are... The wine is delicious, our wine expert was quite knowledgeable and entertaining during the tasting. We ended up getting several bottles to take home. We are not from the area and researched which winery to visit while out there, and we made the right choice! With all of the wineries it gets to be a bit overwhelming, but if you... More

Visited wineries on Seneca, Keuka and Cayuga Lakes. This was our favorite winery, both for the wines and scenery. Go.
