We stopped around four PM at the Dr. Konstantin Frank vineyard overlooking Keuka Lake on a Saturday afternoon. It seemed popular and had a full parking area. When we walked up to the patio where there were about thirty people sitting outside. We saw a sign saying the next available tasting would be in forty minutes. At that point we... More

Not my favorite winery, was 5th on our tour so that might have played into it. Free tastings but wine was chosen for you. Would give it one more try at the start of a tour

After tasting at several wineries in the area we stopped at Dr. Frank's. Great explanations, great service and no charge for a tasting along with no pressure to purchase, you actually had to go to another room to purchase the wine.

One of the few places that offered complementary tasting. The wines were very good. It was a bit crowded, but very much worth it. Some of the better Rieslings we tried.

This was my favorite winery of all we went to over a weekend. The staff members were very informative, gave detailed background on each wine and answered all our questions. The tastings were free, where all the other wineries cost a few dollars. Beautiful view and great winery!

We met Phil at the winery and he provided a bit of history on Dr Frank's journey with winemaking. The winery is "up the hill" off on RT 54A on the west shore of Kueka Lake. The wine is critically acclaimed in several national wine magazines, making this winery a must see.

It would be this one. Without question. I just wish I had more money to buy more of their wines. I bought 12 bottles this time and I will join the wine club to keep them coming regularly. By far the best in the Finger Lakes! The hype is very real.

Always worth the trip. Usually the best wines on the lake and the staff is hard to beat. Great view of the lake.
