Almost all the samples we tasted were "thumbs-up" and went home with us! Also want to give a shout out to AJ for all his help and great attitude during our visit on Friday of Memorial Day weekend. I was in with my husband and two of his sisters and AJ served us. He was very knowledgeable about the different wines we sampled, as well as the ones we didn't. He listened to our likes and dislikes and helped us out. He even offered to help us carry our boxes of purchased wine to the car in the rain! We really enjoyed our time with him and will be back!

My husband and I have been to many wineries in the past few years. We recently visited Ten Thousand Vines and dicovered quite a treat.
We had purchased an excellent Groupon deal for wine tasting for 2, and $30 worth of wine or merchandise, for only $15. Unlike any other winery tasting we've done, they allowed us to select 6 each of ANY wine they sell, and poured enough so you can actually take a couple of drinks to be sure of the taste. Best of all, we found each and every wine to have a completely different and distinctive taste. The reason for this, they don't grow their own grapes. They import juices from all over the world to create a wonderful variety of wines. A+ for a being different. Our only con, was that we couldn't decide which ones to purchase, we loved them all!

My wife and I love wineries, but are far from experts. On our way from Finger Lakes to Niagra Falls, we decided to stop by Ten Thousand Vines--and we're sure glad we did! The wines were excellent, with many choices--and at good, fair prices. But what set apart this winery from all others is the top notch service given by everyone there. Mike and Jamie treated us like family. Not only did they explain the wines we tasted, but were extremely patient and helpful with all our questions. They even recommended a place next door to get some wings---best wings ever! Mike went above and beyond our expectations. We were so impressed that after a day in Niagra, we drove back just to spend some more time at Ten Thousand Vines. Go here--you won't be disappointed!

Cool venue. Buy wine, make wine there, make it at home. Hamburg Village has it all. Been in biz for a long time. This is a sleeper of a find.

My husband and I have been going to this wonderful winery for several years now. It was because of the wonderful staff and informative wine making classes that I now am addicted to making wine! It is so much fun, easy to do and very rewarding. The owner and staff are very knowledgeable, selection is great and if you are looking for a specific wine kit that may not be currently in stock (which is rare the selection is vast) they are happy to order it in for you! Can't say enough for this Jewel in the Village of Hamburg

They don't have a huge selection but carry most of what you will need for home wine making. The prices were very good and the staff was friendly. It's great that they are close.

We have driven by repeated, and kept mentioning we should stop by. I ran in to scope it out while my husband read the plaques in the garden next to the entrance. You can park across the street, or on the other side of the intersection, in the main town parking lot. It was wonderful. They collect grapes from around the world and make the wine right on site. For $3.00 we tasted 5 different flavors of white wine

My wife and I have been to over 100 wineries and this is the first time we have visited one in the middle of a village. The 10,000 vines are not, no surprise, behind the store front. In fact they are all over the world. This winery buys grapes from countries on several different continents and makes many, many different kinds of the wine right in the middle of the Village of Hamburg! Our server was very friendly and extremely knowledgeable about the wines they offer. As I suspected he was, in fact, the winemaker. Although not entirely out of the ordinary, it is always a nice surprise to have the winemaker be the one offering the samples.

Between the two of us we sampled 8 or 9 different wines and enjoyed most of them. I especially liked the Village Malbec and my wife liked the Village Chardonnay.
