Captain Dave is a wonderful and gracious host. We took our 4 little grandchildren ages 2 to 5 years old and Dave was so patient , funny and accommodating. It's hard to find venues, especially boat rides, that cater to your personal needs. Dave provided nautical coloring books and crayons, allowed each of the kids a turn at the ship's wheel, and took pictures of our group for us. The Glory is a beautiful , calm and quiet electric boat. What a wonderful way to spend Father's Day. So much fun!

This was a wonderful thing to do with the family. We were only the second trip the captain had made since Covid had shut everything down. He was very friendly and very much concerned about the cleanliness of the boat and our being able to be acceptably socially distant. The tour is relaxing and the captain has a ton of knowledge about Greenport in general since he has lived there for several decades. I would highly recommend it to anyone who just wants to get out of the house and be on the water.

It was a beautiful day on the bay for a boat ride. Social distancing precautions were in place and it was comfortable to sit in the boat and feel safe. Captain Dave is really knowledgeable about the area and is really interesting to talk and listen to.He's very passionate and genuine about what he does and being more sustainable for the environment. It felt like a unique experience you couldn't get anywhere else. Great trip.

My husband and I went on a “babymoon” to Greenport recently and wanted to go out on a boat one day. Because of COVID we didn’t want to go on a group boat tour, but we also didn’t want to do a 3-4 hour private tour as I’m 7 months pregnant and wasn’t sure how long I wanted to be out on the water. The tour on Glory was just perfect for our needs as it’s a 45-min private tour. The boat was comfortable and clean, and the captain, Dave, was very hospitable and full of interesting facts about Greenport and the harbor. Would highly recommend!

Every time we go on Cap'n Dave's boat we have the most rewarding time possible in Greenport. He is the quintessential raconteur and will answer any and all questions about the harbor. This trip is perfect for children of all ages from one to one hundred.

This was a very relaxing tour of the harbor. The Captain described many points of interest in Greenport and Shelter Island during the trip. He made it a lot of fun by adding his own stories. We will defiantly do this the next time we are visiting the area,

Capt Dave is awesome. He made our boat ride so much fun! Even my teenagers had a great time. If you want a relaxing boat ride this is the one to go on. He is only doing private tours now so your party is only people on boat.

Two grandmas took an eight year old grandson for a tour of the Greenport harbor on The Glory. We had a glorious time. Captain David Berson was knowledgeable and kind. He let the little one steer the wheel. He told us about the history of Greenport. Because it is an electric boat, it was quiet, no fumes. When we left the boat, the grandson said proudly, “I drove the boat!” More than once. A fun ride.

We took a 45-minute tour with Captain Dave during our long weekend in Greenport and we loved it! Dave was a great host and tour guide, and we learned lots of local lore. It’s a great way to see Greenport. Plus the experience was very clean and safe. Highly recommend!

Are you operating on July 4th? If yes, what’s your schedule? Thanks.

Is there a tour on saturday june 30?
What times?
Written June 29, 2018
The tours usually are an hour plus. Best to get there in Greenport docks early to set up a time. I’m sure he’s going to be bust with July 4 a few days away

How often will tours go out on a weekday in the summer?
If it's pouring rain that day is there a cancellation policy?
Thanks.
Written February 11, 2017
Beginning on Memorial Day weekend Glory will do three trips daily, everyday but Tuesday. If it rains we don't go unless folks want to, as they sometimes do. All monies are then refunded. Thank you

How long is the ride
What is the cost
How soon do you need a reservation
Written September 19, 2016
it holds 11 total or 9 adults & 2-3 children
Cost is $20
Ride approx 1 hr
During summer week-ends it is recommended to make a reservation. I think there were only 3 or 4 cruises on week-end days
