Nice selection of wines. The property had an awesome water view. However, there was a $5 per person entry fee. All tastings were additional. We decided on a bottle to share, as this was the least expensive option. We have been to many wineries for tastings, and this was the first time we were charged an entry fee. We would not recommend it because there are so many other choices without this ridiculous fee.

The COVID-19 precautions here are a bit more severe than many other wineries and it made the visit seem a little distant and cold. Wines are really nice, spectacular view from the outside seating areas. There were about a hundred millennial types visiting and two wedding parties so it seemed a little less quiet and relaxed than it just usually be but still wonderful.

I have been visiting wineries across USA, Canada & France and never have I had such indifferent service from a winery. They do not allow groups of larger than 4 to sit inside ( We were a group of 8..with deep pockets). Not only did we have to sit at picnic tables outside in the stifling heat, but we essentially bought our tasting bottles, carted them outside ourselves and no tasting notes/history provided.
The interior is lovely - was empty when we were there so I am not sure why they cannot accommodate groups - and the wines were rather good. The overall attitude soured the experience.

We paid $10 per person for the reservation to enter the vineyard even though they are not giving tours of the cellar. We understand that the indoor tours are not happening and that’s okay but they could adapt to the circumstances and since they are still charging to enter the property, they could at least give a small tour outdoors and tell the visitors about the vineyard or the wine making process. In other vineyards, they are offering wine tasting sessions but not on this one. We then also paid for 2 wine bottles plus cheese, meat and crackers. We did spend some money so we did not understand this $10 fee as we did not have any sort ot tour. We would have liked that. This would be a great thing to attract more visitors in the fall/winter months. We visited them on 10/26.

If you are frequent visitor of vineyards on the North Fork I would have to put a buyer beware warning on this vineyard. My husband and I, along with another couple visited 6 vineyards over two days this past weekend. We are members at three places and are well versed in visiting the area. This was our first visit here and I would not recommend it. They have a policy in place for COVID that in order to visit you must have a reservation; which I am a huge fan us BUT... their reservation system is nothing but a cover charge. We had a reservation for Saturday at 4PM. Right off the start we had trouble finding parking, not shocking then to walk in and find a tasting room that was uncomfortably busy. The hostess was less than welcoming, handed us four classes and told us to get on line for wine. We waited in a line for 20 minutes and were offered zero information on the wine. We knew we couldn't taste but there was no history of the wine, walk through of the tasting notes, nothing. Once we made our choices we went outside to escape the crowds and found an open picnic table on the field. Again, crowded and seating was very limited. Bottom line, if you make a reservation you expect to be accommodated. The money you pay to reserve gets you nothing but admission to an uncomfortable, lack of educational and hospitable experience.

Tired to book in advance from Australia. Their website insists on a minimum of two guests or you can’t book. Emailed them, trying to book for one person, I was told to go online yet i’d already explained their minimum was for two people which is all their website allows. Didn’t hear back. Walked the 3kms there hoping to get in. Easy. Not busy on a Saturday afternoon. It was over $5 (AUD$8) for entry and a glass. Just what every international traveller wants to carry home! Then it was $24 ($AUD37) for four tastings. The four didn’t even equate to one full glass. To purchase one full glass would have been $12. The rude girl serving simply said “what four?” She told me nothing about the winery, nothing about the wines, didn’t ask what kind I liked, so I blindly chose four. I asked to take a photo of the bottles so I knew what I was drinking, she proclaimed “well I wrote it on the plastic cups”. She had written M for merlot, CF for cab franc. Clearly doesn’t care about the brand nor the experience guests have. They tasted more like medicine than wine so I didn’t even feel impressed by the wines. So after $AUD44 I returned my unused glass to the check-in desk and I walked the 3kms back to town. Disappointing and expensive.

The location is truly amazing, beautiful driveway and exceptional sitting area near the beach.
But 5 dollars per person just to be there is unacceptable: this is a winery at a vineyard, everyone comes to buy or taste. We are from Italy, not even Antinory has you pay for attendance, no wineries have the arrogance of doing this.
In addition to this, the wine taste is a robbery: 24 dollars for 4 cups of 1oz each. You should be ashamed of such prices.
To conclude, if you want to be fancy and exclusive then you serve tastings in glasses, not in plastic cups.
The US is shameful for how expensive it has people pay for locally grown wine, but this place is just a way to take away money without giving anything in return, not even an explanation of the wines or a tour of the place.
We have been to other wineries in the US. All over-priced, but this experience made us feel like we were robbed and made fun of.
And 12 dollars for 5 pieces of local cheese is the cherry on the top.

Prob one of the worst insensitive pompous places i have ever been, winery and all. As soon as we walked in, after visiting two other wineries, macari and paumonok, we were treated like underlings, exclaiming that its $5 each just to be there...just to be there!! And then Toni with a really bad attitude even asked for our designated driver to pay $5. Worst experience, and just a bad taste , there is a proper way to advise people, especially on a slow Monday afternoon. Never felt welcomed at all.

We paid $10 per person to enter. Usually in wineries, an upfront cost like this covers the wine tasting and someone to explain the wines to you.
Here, we entered only to find out that we could only buy wines by the bottle! What a scam! Additionally, there was no tour, no person giving you information about the wines or winery, NOTHING!
We even bought cheese thinking it would come out nicely but it was just messily thrown into cheap to-go containers.
Total scam with the excuse of “Covid.” Even the staff was very unfriendly when we complained.
Go to a different vineyard is my recommendation!

The location and views are outstanding. Looking out across the sound while having tasting wine can not be beat.
But charging $5 per person just to walk into the place is a rip-offf.
The wines were unremarkable and the service staff was uninspired. They give a quick description of the wine but were not interested in a discussion about it. (it was not a volume issue since we were the only one there).
Many other wineries on Long Island which provide a better overall experience.
