I wrote this email to the “wine guy” after my experience in 8/22. No one even had the decency to respond. I was not planning to write a review because I’m usually the person who likes to give the company a chance to comment or respond privately if I have a bad experience. However, between the terrible experience and lack of response or even acknowledgment from this company I’m sharing my negative review. I wanted to send you an email to share with you my thoughts of my experience this weekend with North Fork Wine Tour. This is the first time I have used a service for a wine tour. We usually drive ourselves or hire a car service company that just charges us hourly and we coordinate the reservations ourselves. The process of reserving was very easy, I thank you for responding so quickly. I was a bit skeptical when I received a phone call 2 days before to confirm the gratuity amount, but I understand business is not the same with COVID. However, during that conversation you stated I would be in a new 2019 vehicle, and I was very disappointed when it arrived. The carpet by the door was completely ripped and there was no way to connect our phones to play music. There was an Outdated AUX cord, that does not connect to any phone that has been made in the last 4 years. When we asked our driver to show us how to just use the radio that was completely static- he had no idea and just stated “you have to play with it”. We ended up playing the music on a really loud volume from one of our phones. I did not think a car made in 2019 would not be equipped with Bluetooth. At the first stop (Riverhead Ciderhouse) Joseph dropped us off and drove away. When we walked in I informed them we had reservations and they said our driver told them we didn’t. I then had to call the office who said the driver should have paid. It was just a mix up, and while we had to wait which took time away from our tasting and time in general it wasn’t that big of a deal. However, at the next stop (Raphael) when he started to drive away I asked him “do you have to pay for us here?”— he just said “I don’t know”.... I then had to go in and ask the woman at the desk how it works, go back outside to Joseph and tell him to come in and pay, etc.... it was frustrating. Also, regarding Raphael, which I love, we wanted to do a tasting and not order bottles or glasses. Many in our group had never been. However, when I asked you earlier in the week if that was the case you had just indicated the tasting was confirmed- so when I found out we could not get a tasting it was just another disappointment for the day. I know I am usually the one who plans events for my family and friends so maybe my standards were just too high, but I was very disappointed to have paid $1300 for such a poor experience. While the concept of the tour was a great one, in the future I will be going back to the way I used to do it.

The worst customer service I have ever experienced in my life. They were rude, unhelpful and made you feel bad everyTIME you asked a questions about your trip. I am so disappointed and will never be using this company or recommending this company to anyone. If you want to do a wine tour on Long Island- STAY AWAY from them

Our upcoming trip to the North Fork to do a day of wine tasting in March was cancelled due to COVID-19. We had booked a car with North Fork Wine Tours and obviously had to cancel the reservation. I just had to post that we had an excellent experience with NFWT. They responded timely to my request and I received a full refund within a day or so. I would definitely work with them again and hope to reschedule our fun day in the future!

I had a great experience with this company. I booked a wine tour back in May for my 25th birthday. There were 14 of us in total and we were put in a spacious SUV limo. Our driver Tommy was prompt and friendly, and even made a bathroom stop on the drive out. He kept us on time for each vineyard and was very accommodating. Our lunches were all correct and delicious. And we made it back home right on time. My friends and I had an awesome time!

I was in charge of organizing a wine tasting day for a college reunion and Michael and the team of North Fork Wine Tours made it easy to arrange, had great recommendations for wineries, and paired us with Steve, our terrific driver. Communications were always efficient and timely, and I appreciated the insight into scheduling the day. Highly recommend.
