Highly recommend! NFWT was responsive over email leading up the the trip, making every little change I needed and answering every concern. And on the day of, the driver was an absolute gem. Showed up on time, bus looked great, clean, had a working bathroom, had ice and waters and Bluetooth… he was so friendly and helpful, getting us set up at each winery, patiently taking group photos for us, texting me when we were 15 minutes from leaving each, and then coming inside to check on us if I didn’t respond (drinking and socializing so you know how it gets). We got the Lux option with lunches and they were all good and served to us at a good time. We visited Raphaels, which was an extra cost but honestly so worth it if you have a crew who likes a beautiful ambience and good wine. We also did Pellegrinis a private area for our group. It wasnt as pretty and the service wasn’t as good as Raphaels, but had some great wines.

We are super happy with our experience with NFWT, and I was nervous bc we were hosting an older crowd who is used to nice things. I will definitely use them again.

Our upcoming trip to the North Fork to do a day of wine tasting in March was cancelled due to COVID-19. We had booked a car with North Fork Wine Tours and obviously had to cancel the reservation. I just had to post that we had an excellent experience with NFWT. They responded timely to my request and I received a full refund within a day or so. I would definitely work with them again and hope to reschedule our fun day in the future!

No hidden fees, very straightforward and easy to book. Also very accommodating. One of the girls on our trip left her bag at the first winery we went to - they had someone else from their team pick it up and bring it to the next winery to meet us. Also the driver dropped off some of our group in town and some back at the house with no problems or extra fees.

This was our second trip to the wineries in north fork Long Island.

This year we hired this tour with the package agreement and upfront payment to visit 3 wineries including tasting fee, in an SUV to accommodate 5 people.

What a disappointment to see our “SUV” show up. What we ended up with was a older small Minivan that was actually an UBER service. This also happened to be a wheelchair equipped van so that the back seat could barely fit two adults. It was the most uncomfortable ride for 5 adults on albeit a warm day. (Thankfully the driver was very kind and tried his best in a difficult situation)

Since we prepaid for the wine tours it was quite surprising that when we showed up to the second one there was no reservation. Apparently the tour company never confirmed so we were left to wait in line had to pay for the entrance fee (again) and we’re not able to get the table service and tasting.

More disappointing was that we all reached out multiple times to discuss the situation with no response, prior to writing this review.

I wrote this email to the “wine guy” after my experience in 8/22. No one even had the decency to respond. I was not planning to write a review because I’m usually the person who likes to give the company a chance to comment or respond privately if I have a bad experience. However, between the terrible experience and lack of response or even acknowledgment from this company I’m sharing my negative review.

I wanted to send you an email to share with you my thoughts of my experience this weekend with North Fork Wine Tour. This is the first time I have used a service for a wine tour. We usually drive ourselves or hire a car service company that just charges us hourly and we coordinate the reservations ourselves.

The process of reserving was very easy, I thank you for responding so quickly.

I was a bit skeptical when I received a phone call 2 days before to confirm the gratuity amount, but I understand business is not the same with COVID. However, during that conversation you stated I would be in a new 2019 vehicle, and I was very disappointed when it arrived. The carpet by the door was completely ripped and there was no way to connect our phones to play music. There was an Outdated AUX cord, that does not connect to any phone that has been made in the last 4 years. When we asked our driver to show us how to just use the radio that was completely static- he had no idea and just stated “you have to play with it”. We ended up playing the music on a really loud volume from one of our phones. I did not think a car made in 2019 would not be equipped with Bluetooth.

At the first stop (Riverhead Ciderhouse) Joseph dropped us off and drove away. When we walked in I informed them we had reservations and they said our driver told them we didn’t. I then had to call the office who said the driver should have paid. It was just a mix up, and while we had to wait which took time away from our tasting and time in general it wasn’t that big of a deal. However, at the next stop (Raphael) when he started to drive away I asked him “do you have to pay for us here?”— he just said “I don’t know”.... I then had to go in and ask the woman at the desk how it works, go back outside to Joseph and tell him to come in and pay, etc.... it was frustrating.

Also, regarding Raphael, which I love, we wanted to do a tasting and not order bottles or glasses. Many in our group had never been. However, when I asked you earlier in the week if that was the case you had just indicated the tasting was confirmed- so when I found out we could not get a tasting it was just another disappointment for the day.

I know I am usually the one who plans events for my family and friends so maybe my standards were just too high, but I was very disappointed to have paid $1300 for such a poor experience. While the concept of the tour was a great one, in the future I will be going back to the way I used to do it.

My friends and I booked a tour with North Fork Wine Tours for May 1. We paid for a SUV for 5 people that included 3 tours. Instead of an SUV they sent a minivan that was pretty crowded for 5. The minivan was an Uber so it was clear they ran out of luxury SUVs and hired an Uber for us. If we wanted a minivan we could have hired it for a lot cheaper than we paid for the SUV per hour. Our first tour was fine, but when we arrived at the second tour they had no record of our reservation and (since our driver had departed) we had to pay again to be served. This was after we prepaid $125 for a tasting at this winery. Our last stop was a brewery that, when we arrived, informed us that tastings weren’t allowed and so they gave us one 12oz plastic cup of beer that cost $7 or $8, however we paid $25 per person. We have tried repeatedly to get a credit from the tour company for not only the transportation but also the tours that were overcharged. They have not responded to repeated calls or emails. We would definitely NOT recommend this tour. It is so unfortunate that they don’t stand behind their service.

I was delegated with the task of planning a day out east for an entire wedding party. After doing some research I decided to use North Fork Wine Tours. Boy, do I wish I did more research. This company by no means lived up to their high standards and prestige reputation. Let’s start off by saying I requested a “coach bus” with a bathroom. I did not realize that a coach bus simply meant just seating without anywhere to move or walk around. I admit that this is a mistake on my end but you would of thought that ‘The Wine Tour Team” who had been emailing back and forth with me would have mentioned something. There was no picture on their website of this kind of bus that showed up the day of and to email me the day before saying that the bus we will be taking for almost 2 hours with 20 people will not have a bathroom is ludicrous. It was too late to scramble around and look for a new company, as everything had been plan with the particular wineries.

The bus showed up minutes late and we still had to decorate the bus and load everything on. To my prior experience buses usually arrived earlier then the time of departure to allot for the opportunity to set everything up. Once we stepped onto the bus it felt as though we were walking into a sauna. The rear of the bus has no air condition which made everything 100 times worse. There was a huge pile of fluid on the floor in the aisle when we got onto the bus, which we had to clean up ourselves, and it left an old musky scent.

So we finally get everyone and everything onto the bus and we’re ready for departure. Everyone is already complaining, as it is a 90-degree Saturday in August with no air condition ready for a two-hour drive to Southold. What could possibly make this drive any more miserable? A broken Aux/Bluetooth speaker. The bus’s stereo system was not working as it played static noise the entire time. We tried everything to switching up phones to playing our own music but to no avail. So now were stuck with this bus, with no bathroom, no air condition and now no music. North Fork Wine Tour shame on you for even allowing this bus to be in service.

On the way there the interior of the bus was so hot that the leather from the seats was now coming off the seats and sticking to everyone’s legs and hands. (pictures attached) What kind of “reputable” company would consent to this type of customer service? To say I am disappointed is an understatement. I would NEVER recommended this tour to anybody and wish that anyone who reads this understands the disappointment and frustration that it caused between myself and everyone in the wedding party. I look forward to hearing back from you to rectify this situation and perhaps be compensated for the inconvenience and anxiety it caused not only between myself but to everyone who was supposed to be apart of this special day.

If I could review customers, I would. Who is Joey? An upset BROTHER who DID NOT plan a wine tour with NFWTS, in fact, Gina D. who is Joey D. sister booked the wine tour. Gina submitted an inquiry through the NFWT website REQUESTING a coach bus with a bathroom. We responded with a quote for a coach bus (we have receipts) the quote did NOT mention a bathroom because a coach with a bathroom was NOT available. Gina called to book and was informed that the vehicle DID NOT HAVE A BATHROOM however they could request a bathroom stop if needed. She booked anyway because she didn’t want to lose the date. She sent back forms confirming she booked (again we have receipts). THE WEEK OF ( Wednesday )we got an email from Samantha T. saying she would be in the vehicle, wanted to decorate with “a few balloons nothing crazy” and requested more details. (Samantha had not been in contact with NFWT at all until WEDNESDAY THE WEEK of). We shared details with her and even provided photos of the vehicle. Samantha then requested a party bus 2 DAYS BEFORE THE TOUR DATE. Unfortunately, we did not have another vehicle to switch them to 2 DAYS BEFORE THE TOUR DATE. However, we offered a party bus for that Sunday. Then 1 DAY (Friday) BEFORE THE TOUR Gina called saying how her brother was upset with her and how they just assumed the vehicle would be a party bus because there are no coach vehicle photos posted on our website (the same website she submitted an inquire requesting a coach bus), again we offered her a party bus but this time with a bathroom for that Sunday and even asked if she wanted to change to any other date if that Sunday didn’t work for her. AGAIN, THE DAY BEFORE TOURING (Friday) She said she would like to see if another company had a party bus. She called back asking to cancel and lose the deposit BUT wanted to know if she could keep her reservations the NFWT made for her. She was informed that NFWT would have to confirm with Michael the OWNER and would be in touch. Gina called back and said NVM keep everything as is and she will just have to DEAL WITH HER BROTHERS attitude. The vehicle was NOT early however it was on time. The vehicle was cleaned the morning of & the “fluid” inside was from it being cleaned and was drying. DOT was at the vineyards and the vehicle was inspected by DOT that Saturday and the vehicle passed with flying colors (Receipts & sticker for this as well). NO ONE from GINA'S group called to complain ever that day (I have phone records) and still no one has called, however, this review is posted requesting compensation for something NFWT was not informed of. The manager of operations and myself were at the vineyards to assist the caterer and provide bottles of water to the drivers for NFWTs groups. I personally saw Gina’s group get out of the vehicle at Osprey's Dominion and NO ONE looked uncomfortable or unhappy. The group seemed to be having a wonderful time. If there were any issues at all, no one in Gina’s group reached out to try and give NFWT the ability to fix/justify/correct anything issues they had (again the vehicle passed DOT inspection). Also, I would like to point out that the photos attached are a HEAD REST That’s distressed (regular ware) that was picked. No one’s headrest would “stick” to someone’s wrist without them sticking it on there…please don’t believe everything you read in these reviews.

Beware when booking. We paid for an SUV for 5 of us and we got a old mini van with a wheel chair ramp that rattled the whole time. Our driver was nice. It just wasn’t what we paid for. The 2nd winery we went to didn’t have our reservation they Norfolk booked. We had to pay for our wine ( which we had already paid Norfolk for ) then went to a “brewery “ that we paid Norfolk 125.00 for the five of us . It was like a dive bar. and we got a $7 beer and got to pick a “tiny snack bag” LOL. Total joke and should not be on a “wine tour .

Just make sure you get the car you are promised and your wineries are good !!

Long Island North Fork Wine Tours was simply amazing!  From the first to last email, they were prompt, courteous, and professional.  They took care of everything and laid out an itinerary that was perfect for my group.  We added an additional pickup in the city, before picking up the birthday girl out in Long Island, and our driver was amazing.  Diego was on time and took excellent care of us, making sure we got around safely and in a timely manner, but never feeling rushed.  He even played photographer for us throughout the day:)  I highly recommend Long Island North Fork Wine Tours, and cant wait to use their services again in the future!

The tour started with a warm welcome from our knowledgeable and passionate tour guide. Their expertise in wine production and local history was evident as they shared fascinating insights about the region's winemaking traditions and processes. I was captivated by their storytelling and learned so much about the art of winemaking. The highlight of the tour, of course, was the wine tasting. We were treated to a selection of premium wines, each with its own distinct characteristics and flavors. From robust reds to crisp whites and delicate rosés, the variety of wines we sampled was truly impressive.
