How can it get any better? A world-class winery about 2 miles from my house! From old vine Baco Noir to lighter, slightly sweeter 'picnic wines' to their Paperbirch dessert wines - Carlo and Dominique, owners, and Steve Casscles, winemaker and owner of a couple of the vineyards from which HCW gets its 'raw product', create something for anyone who... I love wine, so $5 to taste five wines, excellent. The wine was very good, bought tow bottles, plus a bottle of whit balsamic vinegar which they make as well. They also have grappa, which was very good.

We enjoyed a tasting at the store-front in Tannersville. The young man was very knowledgable about the winery and the wines. We purchased wine we had enjoyed. The gift items on display were interesting and varied.

Great place to be. The staff was so friendly and helpful. Stopped on our way to Warren Vermont, best detour ever. Will be back.

Very scenic winery in the rolling hills of NY. We stopped in on a slow afternoon and were the only ones in the tasting room. For $5.00 we got to taste 5 wines. We felt that the pours were very very scant, less than 1/2 oz each. It was not worth spending the money on the tasting. We did buy... More

We were the only ones at the winery during our visit. Easy to find, lots of parking. We each had a tasting of 7 different wines. The pours were a little on the light side compared to what we were used to, she added an extra one that she really loved and wanted us to experience. We would highly suggest... More

For $5 you get 7 pours and a lovely overview of the winery's products. Didn't feel rushed during the tasting or pushed into purchasing (though we did buy a few bottles). Pleasant stop and worth the trip.

My wife and I stopped by last week for the Sangria Festival. No cost to get in and they had live entertainment along with some food vendors. Prices were ok, $5 for a tasting of five sangrias, $5 per glass of sangria and then $20 for a pitcher. My wife and I decided to each get the tasting for five.... More
