Hudson Valley Distillers is a family/veteran owned business that was founded on the belief that what you put in is what you get out. We are proud to carry on the tradition of making spirits from fruits and grains sourced from local farms. We offer award winning spirits, signature cocktails, as well as local wine, beer and cider. Drop in for a quick taste or relax in the cocktail barn or cocktail garden with the drink of your choice and experience what we like to call "time well spent". We are open weekends and feature an on-site food truck to round out the experience. Enjoy an afternoon or evening here and take your favorite spirit or some of our new ready-to-pour bottled cocktails to enjoy at home!

I organized a tasting for a bachelorette party of 6. We were warmly greeted and the distillery was ready for our party right away. We had our tasing in the small bar area which was very clean and well decorated. Jennifer led our tasting and was very knowledgeable about the liquors and very friendly. This was my first time doing a spirit tasting and I really enjoyed it. It was a good value to do the tasting, you get to try all 4 spirits and a tasting size cocktail. After the tasting we hung out in the large outdoor patio, it is dog friendly and properly distanced. The bar inside serves spirits from the distillery as well as other local beer, wines and ciders. A perfect Hudson valley afternoon activity! I highly recommend the applejack spirit and the cocktails made with it!

I went here with my wife on a Tuesday night, one of their "In-The-Biz" events. The owners, Jennifer and Christopher are welcoming, charismatic, and professional business owners who also have an Air BnB on the property. The property itself is set in scenic Germantown, among acres and acres of beautiful farmland. When the weather is warm there is a fire pit out back for folks to enjoy their cocktails, food, and each other's company. Often there are food trucks!
I tried the bourbon old fashioned with walnut bitters. One of the best old fashioneds I've ever had. My wife had a whiskey-style screwdriver which was just as good. After that we tried the sampler of all of their liquors that they make right on site. Everything from the Malt Whiskey to their signiture Applejack Whiskey (wow!!!), to their Gin and Vodka had terrific flavors. Kara took great care of us at the bar in the tasting room and made us feel quite welcome. We took home a bottle of their bourbon, which is delicious, especially for the price point.
I cannot wait to go back and try some more of their signiture cocktails! This will definitely be a regular spot of mine from now on.

We visited on a very hot weekend afternoon in July 2020. We were the only people there at the time. They have a tent out back with picnic tables under it. There was a nice breeze. The drinks were good and it was very easy to socially distance ourselves! We bought a bottle of bourbon to go, which was excellent quality.

My husband and I visited here on a Saturday afternoon while here on a getaway weekend. What a wonderful place! The owner gave us a great tasting and history on all the liquors, we ordered a cheese board and pizza and some cocktails after. Everyone on staff was amazingly friendly and attentive. Drinks & food top notch. We loved the atmosphere and loved just being together drinking and playing cards. Can't wait to return in the warmer months.

Came to this place thinking we were coming to the Hudson Whiskey Distillery and it is NOT…. Please be ware as it is just a good bar with some spirits to try. The do in fact have a mexican food truck outside which is average and overpriced for what it is.
The tasting is just a very small miniature plastic cups to taste the spirits… very cheap though… spirits also very average…
Service was very good, hence the second star!! This is a place we could avoid coming in… sorry guys… service was indeed very good.

The Flore Food Truck on-site was very good. The distillery was OK. There bourbon is very good.
They sell premixed drinks from a dispenser or you can buy them premixed in bottles. They are OK at best. Buy their bourbon and mix your own drinks.
We came at lunch time, we got drinks and a cheese/cracker plate from the distillery. We got lunch from the food truck. Outdoor dinning.
No real engagement from the staff.
I would buy their bourbon again and I would get take-out from the food truck again, but I don't think I'd go for the experience of drinking/dinning there again.

We absolutely loved all of the hand crafted cocktails here. They offer a flight of 3 cocktails to sample. We liked them so much we bought them all, and a few not on the menu. Delicious!! The staff was helpful, knowledgeable, very friendly, and attentive.
Lots of out door seating on a nice day. We will definitely return next time we are in the area. Thank you for a lovely visit!

We drove an hour on a whim and are so glad we did! Just left this little gem. A fun place to have some local cocktails, meet new friends and be well taken care of by staff and owners! We will be back!

We purchased our tour at a scholarship auction. We arrived early and enjoyed a cocktail. They have a great bar and variety of specialty cocktails. We were given a tour by the master distiller who gladly admits that at the start he had no idea what he was doing and it was all trial and error. That sets a pleasant tone for the tour. The distillery is small but the amount of information provided is extensive. The tour ends with a tasting that too was very different. I am not a vodka person, but after tasting the vodka here, I bought a bottle. As a matter of fact we ended up buying a few different bottles. If you find yourself in the area, take a tour. It will be worth your time. That said, keep in mind that tours are only given twice a day in the afternoon so I would recommend making a reservation at peak times. i.e. during the summer, to ensure you don’t get shut out.
