This is a small winery with outstanding wine. All of the wine is excellent! The staff is very friendly and knowledgable. Vinny, the wine maker/owner, is very experienced in making wine in New York State. I highly recommend booking a tasting here for anyone visiting the finger lakes and looking for a fantastic experience.

We love going to the Finger Lakes for a short get-a-way and wine tasting. We always plan our stops but the one winery we visit every trip is Billsboro. The wine is fantastic, my favorites are Sauv Blanc and Albarino. The wine maker showcases the beauty of the grapes year after year. The staff is knowledgeable and attentive without being a distraction to the experience. We have become wine club members and this is one of our "house wine" because it is so drinkable and pairs well. I have given up taking a chance on getting a bottle of wine from an unknown winery when I know that I will enjoy this wine every time. If you love dry wine make sure Billsboro is on your itinerary!

Billsboro winery has a beautiful landscaped outdoor patio. And a nice but small tasting room. They produce excellent Finger Lake dry wine. I am partial to the Pinot Noir and Cabernet Franc. There staff is polite and helpful. There knowledge of their wine does very depending on who you talk to. There prices are beginning to creep up on there wine and tasting are not cheap. I'm a member which I would strongly recommend if you plan on visiting more that a few times a year. It waves the tasting fee and improves the price of their wine as well. My only suggestion to Billsboro is please consider reducing your tasting fees back to $5 or $6.

Thank you for taking the time to give us a review. We appreciate it. And I take your point with our pricing. It has crept up with our post Covid opening. We've raised the price of a tasting from $5 to $10 for a flight of 5 wines of your choice. It is a jump and one we considered carefully. In order to provide the best and safest experience for our customers, we have invested in all new seating, and service vessels. In addition we need more staff as we have moved to seated, table service. I see you are a wine club member, and we do work hard to keep our pricing down for our club members. Wine Club members keep us going throughout the year and we deeply appreciate that. For that reason we have made sure that club members receive complimentary tastings and corresponding discounts on our wines. Now that we have made substantial investments in the winery, prices should stabilize. Thank you again for being a club member and for taking time to review us. Best, Kim

Katherine was AMAZING. She explained the wines, talked with us (not at us) when explaining the wines we tasted. The winery was beautiful and only wished that the weather was warmer to sit outside. Visit if you like dry reds or whites.

Very disappointing that you have to pay in advance to make a wine tasting reservation. However, what was worse was the fact that only this winery of the 4 days of wine tasting we did, charged a $1 surcharge, in addition to the $10 cost. I had checked the winery website in advance to ascertain there were enough dry reds that I would be interested in tasting. Upon arrival (and, of course, weeks after I had paid), I was informed they were only tasting 1 dry red, cabernet franc. I could either have a glass of cab franc (usually not my favorite) or whites. I chose the glass and was very disappointed in the light taste. It was a waste of my $11, and I wished I had not visited this winery.

Beautiful location and excellent service. Loved the old barn feel with great items to purchase. Made reservations online which included one of their cheese boards- a nice addition to their tasting!
Their rose is unique amongst the Finger Lakes wineries and so good that we bought a bottle!
Great setting and very nice staff- would recommend checking out!

What a wonderful experience! Chris was terrific and described all of the wines. He was attentive but not overbearing and was able to answer any questions. There is a nice variety of wines and the setting is beautiful. It is set back with lots of trees and a nice covered patio for outdoor tasting in warm weather. A very nice experience all around.

The Billsboro Winery was a perfect balance of high quality wines with a European ambience. My friend and i each enjoyed a flight of wines that proved more delectable than I had expected of New York state wines. The quality of the wines may have been enhanced, though, by the sunny patio with prudently spaced and umbrella-shaded tables. One could imagine oneself in northern Italy rather than upstate New York. Unusual birds kept up a chorus of accompaniment to the proceedings. Our server, who looked and sounded like Terri Gross (host of NPR's "Fresh Air") was both knowledgeable and unpretentious. If other wineries on our tour had not beckoned, I would have been inclined to spend the afternoon there.

One of my favorites! Been coming to the Finger Lakes and the Seneca Lake Wine Trail for 12 years now. Billsboro is one of our favorites and we've watched as they continually grow the business. The wines have always been fantastic but the outdoor patio has been an amazing addition. My friend (a newbie) and I enjoyed a tasting this past week including creations by Chef Brud Holland. Even accommodated the vegetarian at the last minute which doesn't always happen. To say it was fabulous is an understatement. Keith was very attentive, professional, personable, and knowledgeable. We were grateful it wasn't super busy and he could share information about each wine as he poured. The online reservation system is so easy and convenient. Looking forward to returning again soon. Thanks for everything, Billsboro team!!

In the middle of our long weekend group trip, we scheduled a tasting at this winery and we so glad we did! The restored barn tasting is warm, cozy & welcoming; Cary, our tasting hostess, was fun and friendly; and all their wines across the board were delightful. They also have a lovely outdoor patio area and a small gift shop that has many interesting offerings, as well as local art on the walls. WE WILL BE BACK!
