Like South Street Seaport

I love Nautical Mile because it feels like a little South Street Seaport in the city. There use to be more shops and restaurants before Sandy but it's working it's way back up.

The nautical mile in Freeport is awesome . Its a great time . There are restaurants there that will fit any ones budget You can just stroll , get a ice cream or Ralphs Italian ices and watch the boats coming in and out of the canal . Great place to "people watch". Day or Night its a great place... More

Nautical Mile is slowly rebuilding and coming back. There are still many bars and restaurants to go to. Walking the mile and gazing over the water from the gazebo is refreshing.

If you don't sail or you do, this place is for you. They have so many events on this street during the summer months.

We spent a Saturday afternoon on October 1st trying several restaurants/bars. It was a cloudy day, and post-season, so nothing was very crowded. We met some locals and had a blast. Looking forward to repeating this!

I walked here recently, just to see how it is, and I was not dissapointed. Next I must walk here, and choose which restaurant to eat at.
