Our dear friends got married there recently and it was better than we expected. The ceremony was half outdoors under a tent just a short walk from air conditioned barn. It was quite lovely. The reception was held outside under a very large tent, then also tables set up inside the barn in the air conditioning. This buffet style bbq... More

I take my 2-yrs old on a regular basis. It's small, but has a selection of typical farm animals for the kids to see, touch and feed. Sheep, goats, chicks, pigs and cows. Admission is free just buy food for the sheep and goats. Picnic area and gift shop that sells their produce.

Sometimes we forget in the big city that it's the simple things that can make us happy. We also forget our history. The farm museum reminds us what this stretch of Long Island was like not all too long before the development of the mid-20th century. Where else can you get a hayride around here in this day and age?... More

Amidst the 25 mph streets and typical row house developments of this borough of New York City, is a working farm--complete with vegetables growing, animals, a farm house, and a hay ride! This is the Queens County Farm Museum. While there's no parking lot in which to park for the farm, there is a lot for the adjacent petting zoo... More

My children enjoy the farm. Especially the Pony rides. It's a good learning experience for city children to see where their vegetables and dairy really come from. It's really fun during October!!!

An excellent place to visit whether your a native New Yorker or a very welcome visitor. A great place to visit for families with or without children. Pony rides animal petting, fresh vegetables and daily events. A very small entrance fee, plenty of parking and a lovely day out in the country. Well worth the trip.

We attended the Children's Carnival April 2016 Simply Charming. This annual event held at Queens County Farm Museum has all the classic carnival fun you would expect. Petting Zoo We arrived shortly after opening, around 11:15. The atmosphere was already buzzing with excitement but not overcrowded. Our adventure began at the Queens County Farm Museum Petting Zoo. This is a... More

I think its a pretty nice farm, it was a nice touch adding the sale of bbq corn on the cob. I do however feel the gift shop prices were a bit pricey. everything else was great maybe if they bring down the prices alittle they would bring in more customers and on a consistant basis.

They have many special events geared for children. There are also hay rides and animals that you can feed for a small price at the gift shop. My grandson loves the place.
