    Love the Place!
I like the variety (unlike Batavia Downs - so little slot variety and only live 5 miles from this casino). I've had good days and bad days in Canandaigua. I go to enjoy the games and pray to the lottery gods for a big win. Overall, the place is clean, and only 40 minutes from home. Other casino's over an hour so this is now my go to casino!

Lol this casino is a joke. Not worth the time going there spend several hundred dollars to not get any bonuses and when you do get one you only win few dollars 20 bucks probably not really winning considering you put hundreds in. It's unbelievably quite in there doesn't feel or sound like a casino at all. Horrible just a money sucking place.

I agree with the other patrons that have been coming to Finger lakes gaming and this does rate way below the payouts of other casinos. I have traveled across country many times and have seen much better payouts at other casinos. The only thing I can say good is the staff is decent most of the time. I have eaten at many buffet casinos and this one is below everyone else and charges top dollars. Tasted like day old food. Salad bar was the best part of it. Have been coming here for years and years before they had slots. When it was exciting. Not anymore...

The worst! They have taken COVID precautions to the extreme; to the point of making patrons feel paranoid, not safe. Go to Batavia Downs or Del Lago where you will feel safe, yet welcomed. Also, slots are tighter than any other casino I have been too, and I have been to a lot.

I went to play a little. I won $700 but they took $538f for taxes owed. I don't understand why they do this. I would have taken care of the taxes during tax time. They are in Kahoot with the State. When you lose they don't report it. Totally unfair.

Last minute decision and no, not a disgruntled loser. Walked in looked around, asked a slot rep where the dollar machines were. She said they are scattered around the floor. Saw another, same thing. Found a young man 3rd time, his response was “I donno”. So, I asked him, who knows? Does anyone know? Anyways, walked around some more with no luck. I did walk out with $1700 though playing several dine machines. I worked in the industry. When you don’t know, you ask. Poor customer service but clean and well kept.

This used to be a fun place to go. Now all they have is non-paying/non-fun machines. They've taken out all the good ones and replaced with boring ones. the food is ok. They also used to send you good coupons for the food and give-aways but now???? NOTHING. Wrote to Manangement 2x now and no response. Guess they don't care if you return . Going to tell all I can about how your casino is and when you lose all of your long dedicated players maybe you'll listen.

According to the Supervisor of the Players Extras service area Finger Lakes does not send calendars with coupons to people who do not spend enough money! He told me the reason Finger Lakes did not mail a calendar to me was I did not spend as much money in August as I did in September and October. Why don't they have a yearly average because people leave the Rochester area during the Summer months? I have been going to Fingers Lakes for several years and have not missed too many monthly calendars with coupons. By the way, I met an older person this weekend and she said that she has not gone to Finger Lakes in six months and still receives monthly calendars WITH coupons. Finger Lakes does not treat all of their patrons equally. I am on my way to save my money for Turning Stone or Seneca Niagara!

Hello - We are sorry that you were not pleased with the explanation you received regarding why you did not receive offers for December. There are several factors that go into determining mailings and offers, but the value and amnount of them certainly does depend on your level of play and visitation. We're sorry that you feel slighted in this instance and hope that we may have a chance to earn your patronage back in the future.

This place is a joke. machines dont pay out here. They hit mabe 5 days a month and when they do they rarely pay you back. On the average day you go through 100 bucks in 45 minutes. Thats betting 1.50 on a penny slot. All those machines do their is suck your money. TRUST ME>

I've visited and gambled at Finger Lakes more than a dozen times and can confidenlty state that the machines are tighter than any found in A/C, Vegas, Niagara Falls, or Turning Stone.
There is no reason to vist Finger Lakes other than the awesome thorougbreds.

Really...there's no other reason.

Beverage service is non-existent. There is a "Grill" on the gaming floor with micro-waved sandwiches ($5 hot-dog!!). On my most recent visit the buffet was scant....many of the pans were empty...many were close to empty...some were just sad. The person who seated me was rude beyond belief.

The only good thing about this place is the horses.

Stay away.

Hello - I am disappointed to hear of your recent dining experience and will review it with our food and beverage staff. Your description is not representative of what we strive to achieve and will be looked at by our food and beverage staff. I would like to mention that just recently the Platinum Grille began undergoing an expansion which will greatly increase the offerings, add one cashier and nearly double the available seating. A Tim Horton's was also recently added to the food and beverage offerings. In closing, I was pleased to see you enjoy the thoroughbred racing here at Finger Lakes. It certainly helps make this a unique entertainment destination. Thank you.

I know when I'm in the area again, I will not be returning to this casino. I mostly play video Keno this place only had 3 machines, really in the whole casino 3. Because I had to wait for one to open up I was only able to play for about 10 minutes before we left. Lots of 1 cent machines if that"s your thing.
