Fall is a great time to enjoy the peace and quiet of the cabins at Fair Haven Beach State Park. A hawk frequented the area of our cabin this time, landing high in a tree one day. Sitting on the bench by the fire pit...More

I love to camp here! We always get a spot on the pond and the view is awesome, especially with the swans, herons, geese, ducks, and other wildlife flying and swimming by. Lots of fishing opportunities and canoeing, kayaking, etc. My favorite is the beach,...More

peaceful and clean, not crowded at all, but with a very small swimming area that was roped off for lifeguards. Great for kids.

We had a great time at the beach. Fewer lifeguards means smaller swim area, but still plenty of room to have a good time. We brought hotdogs and hamburgs, but forgot aluminum foil (grills are sometimes "well used"). My husband went to the camp store...More

This place has improved alot recently with new buildings. The beach is usually pretty crowded, but if you are just looking for a shady picnic spot you can usually find one. This is a nice area to kyack too

We visited for the first time and were on a time schedule. But we saw many families at the large beach area and the campsites looked to be very nice. Great playgrounds for the kids too!

Nice beach with an impressive view. Beach has two new nice bathrooms, there is a lifeguard, and the parking lot is close by the beach. It was a nice change of pace from Sylvan Beach or Green Lakes. The people surrounding were well behaved, thank...More

$8 daily fee to get into the park, unless you have the Empire Pass. Great place to camp, fish, launch your boat from or have a cookout.

I’m a southerner - so this was an adventure in cold water! However we had a great day playing in the sand and enjoying the lake. The life guards were doing their best to keep people in check. Clean bathrooms a short walk from the...More
