Really good historical information and artifacts. Worth a stop and the time to peruse through the history of the "land that time forgot".

Housed in a former industrialists home and first home of what is now Binghamton University, this is a great place to start your visit to Western Broome County and to the general Binghamton, NY area. There is tons of informative brochures and directions plus historic displays from sports, industries, and railroads to whet your appetite. Just west of exit 67N of NY17/I86 on NY 17C/26 in the Village of Endicott

The Endicott Visitor Center is an amazing museum of nostalgic history. This area is the foundation of IBM and this history of how it all came about is on display. It is also the home of Endicott Johnson Corporation "Home Of The Square Deal." It is a beautiful museum and at Christmas they decorate it so beautifully. This is a beautiful place to visit and learn the history of this amazing area and it's founders.

It is an attraction which is designed to show you where more attractions are. Yes I found plenty of directions and pamphlets for attractions nearby and in Broome County, NY. But also there are several rooms on both floors filled with local memorabilia and history. Plus there are facilities offered for holding receptions and small events. Local professional and high school sports and sports stars past and present are highlighted in one room while another room highlights railroad history of the area. Plus, being the home of both IBM and Endicott Johnson Shoe Company throughout the 20th Century, there is lots of displays and history of the companies, their products, and their leading families. It really is a great place to start a visit to the Triple Cities. Once a private home then the first location of Harpur College which is now Binghamton University in Vestal, the building is an architectural gem. Plenty of parking, of course.
