I haven't been here in years and still enjoyed the visit with my grandaughter and her story hour group. Wonderful learning experience for young children. Clean, nice grounds and facility with plenty of parking, grills and outside picnic tables and pavilion. Free fish food for the kids to feed the fishes !!! When they are tired doing that there is... Fish Hatchery. ...I believe these are great for everyone, like the zoo, some folks don't get to see this stuff, good for education and environment. 👍

Feed the trout, be amazed at the number of them in the ponds, and check out the BIG ones. This is a small, local hatchery that does a great job helping supplement some of the best stream fishing in NYS. It makes a nice trip for young kids-picnic tables and a playground, and you can walk through the hatchery itself... More

Just average. I wouldn't go out of my way to see the place. Half of the tanks inside were empty. There were no employees around to answer your questions or give you an idea of what they do there. Nice little pond for the kids to fish in.

What a wonderful and inexpensive family outing. Buy a bag of fish food and feed the brook, brown, and rainbow trout. What a beautiful parklike setting. Pack a lunch or use one of their bbq pits and let the kids enjoy the playground.

Couple tips buy the bulk food up in the park office it 10x's more than what the quarter machine spits out also be sure to go check out the fingerlings and hatchlings they have out behind the... Hatched on site and raised in ponds where you can feed them, this is an incredible chance to get up close to beautiful trout. You can purchase a bag of fish pellets in the office for $1 or $2 to feed the fish. It's well worth it since there is no admission. One building in the back is where the... More
