There had been a great deal of hurricane activity so the surf was roaring! Our group was content to just smell the salty air and watch the beautiful surf on a lovely sunny day!

This is such a wonderful strip of beach: white sands with lovely Atlantic long waves you just cannot wait to put your feet in it and...have your toes frozen!!! Just kidding (well I not!):I am not very good at cold waters but there were few...More

In top 2 of the beaches we visited in East Hampton. Easy to get to, access to clean bathrooms and a snack shack for a quick afternoon bite. Food there was not bad for a quick fix.

While parking was extremely limited, we ended up having an awesome time at one of the beaches adjacent to Main Beach, Two Mile Hollow. This beach is not too crowded and it is apparently reserved for non-residents. Water is clean (you can even see some...More

We went the first week of June, so it was still practically empty. The bath houses and the snack bar were all closed. But it was still a great experience with an amazing view. We were able to park in the nearby lot for free...More

Beautiful beach with lifeguards in the center of East Hampton. Also has a comprehensive snack bar (though be aware it's cash only). Bathrooms are pretty standard for a beach location. Also has outdoor showers and foot wash.

We stopped by this beach today and it was very nice. There is parking but it's $30 so you might want to make a day of it. The bathhouse structure looked nice. Great waves today.

I would say this is my favorite beach on Long Island. With the exception of the $30 charge, everything about the beach is great. The sand is soft, great waves, nice views with huge houses on the beach and it's not crowded.

Hi. The driving distance from Wainscott to Main Beach is less than 5 miles. If you are not a resident of East Hampton Village, where Main Beach is, you have to pay $375 for a season parking pass. Or, if you go only for the... More

There is a hotel called the Hedges Inn thats really nice. Also the Huntting Inn is also real nice. I would recommend Hedges Inn though because it is in walking distance from Main Beach.
