My friend and I really enjoyed our tour in July 2017 (not 2018). The guide was very knowledgeable and it was pretty neat to see the barn floor where Pollack did so much painting and also to walk through the house he shared with Krasner....More

As an afficionado of 20th century art, I found the Pollock-Krasner House to be a holy place. There are so few opportunities to not only visit a great artist's studio, but even rarer are places as well preserved to represent the period in which the...More

This is the home of the well-known Jackson Pollock and his wife, Lee Krasner, also a famous artist. There is really no art work on exhibition just the home and the studio. If you have time to visit then you must reserve a tour for...More

Interesting to see where the artist lived and painted. Well worth the low entrance fee. Make sure you see the floor in the studio. Looks like a Pollack painting.

The Docent was very informative and enthusiastic about sharing the information on Pollock-Krasner. The space gives you a feeling of what it was like to live and work together. Much smaller studio than I would have imagined for such a large figure.

So glad you enjoyed your tour, Maria. As you note, a small space can nurture a large talent--an excellent observation!

This is another unique place--one can walk (with paper slippers (provided) on his drips!! A spectacular setting overlooking the water. The house is interesting and hosts exhibits during the season. Guided tours are available with reservations. Self guided audio tours are also available.
