What an adventure!
A cave you have two routes to choose. Left way is scary, wet and slippery. Right way is beautiful and easy to pass for little children.... the left ist dark!!!! The right has a part of day light. Our children loved the adventure....

After you drive on a beautiful hill you need to take 300m walk on nice path till you reach the cave stairs. It's easy to get it but afterwards you would be better to have good shoes and good torch cause it's beautiful inside :)

After a beautiful drive up the mountain and a short walk we found the cave - literally a hole in the ground. We hadn't expected Vreiko Cave to be unattended so foolishly turned up without torches... iphone torches sufficed but head torches would have been much better. Good trainers are definitely recommended as its a bit of a scramble and can be slippery. There is a ladder down and some ropes in the cave but otherwise it's 'au naturale' which makes it very exciting especially as we didn't see a soul the whole time.
The cave has a chamber to the right which is pretty easy going and one to the left which is quite slippery and a bit of a scramble so don't commit to that one if you're not confident. There are some big stalactites and stalagmites and i'd have loved to have returned at dusk to look for bats.

Scenery was great driving up to the cave and for that the visit was worth it. However first steep wooden stairs down to cave were missing a step and other steps also seemed too loose for adults to go down. The missing step made 50cm high step with nothing under to prevent falling so its not safe for any children either. Hope they fix the stairs soon so people can visit the cave again.

When you've descended the steps into the main well of the cave there are two alternatives. The left path is a steep slippery dark descent for which you need to be fully equipped with boots and lights. To the right it's easier. There are lots of stalacmites and stalactites to see
